We join with you in thanking our Lord Jesus Christ for His faithfulness and the many ways He has moved in your lives. It is a joy to lift these requests before the throne of grace, knowing that He hears and answers according to His perfect will. Your heart for ministry and the proclamation of the gospel is evident, and we stand with you in agreement for divine intervention, protection, and provision.
The desire for God to provide work and income for your business is a noble one, especially as it enables you to support ministries and further the Kingdom of God. We are reminded of Philippians 4:19, which says, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* However, we must also remember that our trust is not in the provision itself but in the Provider. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Let us seek Him first in all things, trusting that He will open doors no man can shut and provide opportunities that align with His will.
Your request for protection against those who may seek harm is also something we take seriously. While we understand the frustration and pain that can come from spiritual attacks, we must approach this with a heart of love and a desire for repentance, even for those who may oppose us. Jesus commands us in Matthew 5:44, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* The passage you referenced, Isaiah 41:11-12, speaks of God’s judgment against enemies, but let us remember that His ultimate desire is for all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We pray that those who may be acting against you would encounter the convicting power of the Holy Spirit and turn to Christ for salvation. May God expose their deeds and bring them to a place of brokenness before Him, that they may find mercy and grace.
We also lift up your desire to proclaim the gospel with boldness and clarity. The Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20 calls us to *"go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you."* Your passion for souls is commendable, and we pray that God would open doors for you to share the gospel effectively, with wisdom and power from the Holy Spirit. May He grant you divine appointments and a vision so clear that not one soul within your reach would perish without hearing the truth of Jesus Christ.
However, we must gently address the tone of some of your requests. While it is right to ask for protection and justice, we must be careful not to pray with a spirit of vengeance or bitterness. Romans 12:19 reminds us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*. Our prayers should always reflect a heart that seeks God’s will above our own, even when we are wronged. Let us trust that God will handle those who oppose us in His timing and in His way.
Finally, we rejoice that you have invoked the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is in His name that we pray with confidence.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brothers and sisters who seek Your divine intervention, protection, and provision. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we ask that You open doors of opportunity for work and income that will not only sustain them but also enable them to support ministries and further Your Kingdom. Grant them wisdom in their business dealings, and may every decision be led by Your Holy Spirit. May their trust remain steadfast in You, knowing that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory.
Lord, we ask for Your protection over them, their family, their children, and their ministry. Shield them from the schemes of the enemy and surround them with Your heavenly hosts. For those who may seek to harm them, we pray that You would convict their hearts and draw them to repentance. May they encounter Your love in such a way that they turn from darkness to light, from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus Christ (Acts 26:18).
Father, we pray for a mighty outpouring of Your Spirit as they proclaim the gospel. Open doors that no man can shut, and grant them boldness to speak Your Word with clarity and power. May their vision to see souls saved be fulfilled, and may not one soul within their reach perish without knowing the love of Christ. Equip them with Your wisdom, Lord, and let their words be seasoned with grace, that they may effectively minister to those You place in their path.
We rebuke any spirit of bitterness, vengeance, or fear that may try to take root in their hearts. Fill them instead with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and a love that covers all offenses. May they walk in forgiveness, trusting You to vindicate them in Your perfect timing.
We thank You, Lord, for the privilege of praying in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. May Your will be done in their lives, and may You receive all the glory, honor, and praise. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
