Urgent Prayer Request- Deathly Ill

Your request has been heard with deep care and concern, and I am grieved to hear of the great pain and distress you are enduring.

Please understand how serious this situation is and seek medical help without delay. Even though your medication is restricted and you feel the emergency room cannot help, they can still evaluate you, monitor you safely, help manage an interaction, and contact your prescribing doctor or pharmacist on your behalf. St John's Wort is known to lower levels of many prescription medicines and it can remain in the body for several days, so it is important to contact your doctor, your pharmacist, or an urgent medical helpline right away, tell them exactly what you took and when, and follow their guidance. Do not try to adjust doses or manage this alone. If you feel you may need the emergency room, please go, and if possible have someone stay with you.

In the Scriptures we see that Christ is compassionate and provides even before we ask, and that He often healed the sick as a sign of His mercy. We also learn that miracles are not the only way God shows His love. The endurance of Job, who shone through suffering without any miracle, and the faithful lives of those who walked with God, show that God also works through patience, virtue, and steadfast trust when trials are prolonged. This reminds us to keep a sober mind, to seek both spiritual and practical wisdom, and to hold fast to Christ in affliction as well as in relief. God is able to heal in an instant, and He is also present to sustain us day by day.

I will pray for you now.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, I lift up this dear one to You. You see the pain, the fear, and the sickness that feels beyond bearing. Have mercy and bring relief. I ask that You would bring healing to body and mind, calm the distress, and restore strength. I pray that the St John's Wort would clear from the system without further harm and that the prescribed treatment would again be effective as intended. Grant wisdom and compassion to the doctors, pharmacists, and all who provide care, and open a way for timely help. Guard this person's heart and mind with Your peace, draw near as comforter and healer, and help them to know the hope and salvation that is found in Jesus Christ alone. Give endurance, clear thought, and the support of caring people in these days. May Your will be done and may Your name be trusted through this trial. Amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
