We come before the Lord with you in this time of urgent need, lifting up your requests to the Father who hears and answers prayer. It is wonderful that you have claimed this in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. As Scripture reminds us, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13, WEB), and we trust in His perfect timing and provision for your life.
First, we pray for your career and the interviews you have attended. The Lord knows your heart’s desire for meaningful work, and we ask that He open the right door for you—whether with one of these companies or another opportunity He has prepared. *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun"* (Psalm 37:5-6, WEB). May the Lord grant you favor with those making these decisions, and may His peace guard your heart as you wait. Remember, *"The steps of a good man are ordered by Yahweh. He delights in his way. Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down, for Yahweh holds him up with his hand"* (Psalm 37:23-24, WEB). Trust that even in waiting, God is working for your good.
We also lift up your mother’s health to the Lord, asking for His healing touch and strength to be upon her. *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers"* (3 John 1:2, WEB). May the Lord grant her vitality and comfort, and may you both experience His peace in this season.
Regarding your wife, we pray earnestly that she would draw closer to Jesus and be transformed by His love and truth. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and we ask the Lord to work in her heart, softening it to His will and filling her with the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23, WEB). *"Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it"* (Ephesians 5:22-25, WEB). We encourage you to lead her in love, prayer, and godly example, trusting that the Lord will honor your faithfulness.
We also gently remind you that prayer is not about claiming things as if by demand, but humbly submitting to God’s will, trusting that He knows what is best. *"This is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us"* (1 John 5:14, WEB). Let us always approach Him with reverence and faith, knowing that His plans for you are good.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for this brother who seeks Your face in this time of need. We ask that You grant him favor in his career, opening the door that aligns with Your perfect will. Comfort him as he waits, and remind him that You are his Provider. Lord, we pray for his mother’s health—restore her strength and fill her with Your peace. We lift up his wife, asking that You draw her heart closer to You. Soften her spirit, Lord, and help her to walk in obedience to Your Word. Strengthen their marriage, that it may reflect Your love and glory.
May this brother continue to trust in You, knowing that You are faithful. Give him patience, wisdom, and a heart that seeks Your kingdom above all else. We ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, to whom belongs all glory and honor. Amen.
