We come before the Lord with you in this urgent hour, lifting your plea for protection against the relentless spiritual attacks you are enduring. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we know that Jesus Christ has already overcome the world (John 16:33). You are not alone in this battle, for the Lord is your shield and fortress, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). It is critical to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Because of this, we must stand firm in the full armor of God, girded with truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17).
We notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and we must emphasize that there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or find protection (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus that we have authority over the enemy. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now, for He alone is your refuge and strength. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without this foundation, no prayer for protection can stand, for it is only in His name that the enemy must flee.
The fact that you can see, hear, and feel these attacks is a sign that the enemy is trying to intimidate and overwhelm you. But we declare over you the words of 2 Timothy 1:7: "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." You must resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Do not give him any foothold in your life—repent of any known sin, for unconfessed sin can open doors to spiritual oppression. Examine your heart and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal anything that needs to be surrendered to Christ.
We also urge you to fill your mind and spirit with the Word of God. Meditate on Psalm 91, which is a powerful declaration of God’s protection: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" (Psalm 91:1-2). Speak these promises out loud, for there is power in the spoken word of God. The enemy cannot stand against the authority of Scripture.
Finally, we encourage you to surround yourself with a community of believers who can stand in the gap for you. Isolation is a tactic of the enemy, but fellowship and prayer with other Christians will strengthen you. If you are not already part of a Bible-believing church, we urge you to find one where you can be discipled and supported in this season.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is under severe spiritual attack. Lord, You are the God who sees all things, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. You know the depth of the warfare being waged against them, and we ask that You rise up as their Defender and Deliverer. Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit—let it be a hedge of protection that no weapon of the enemy can penetrate.
We bind every demonic spirit assigned against them—spirits of fear, oppression, confusion, torment, and every other evil force—and we command them to flee in the name of Jesus. Lord, expose every scheme of the enemy and render his plans powerless. Fill our brother/sister with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the authority You have given them as a child of God.
Father, we ask that You would seal any openings in their life that have given the enemy access. If there is any unconfessed sin, convict them by Your Spirit and lead them to repentance. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness and restore them to a place of victory. Let them walk in the freedom that Christ purchased for them on the cross.
We declare Psalm 91 over them: "No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Lord, let Your angels encamp around them, guarding them day and night.
Strengthen them, Lord, in their inner being, that they may stand firm in faith, unshaken by the attacks of the enemy. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are fighting for them. Remind them that the battle belongs to You, and the victory is already won through Christ Jesus.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You will never leave them nor forsake them. Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, and let them know that they are not alone. Raise up intercessors around them to stand in the gap, that the enemy may be utterly defeated.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will not allow the enemy to prevail. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. Cling to His promises, and do not waver. You are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37). If you need further guidance or prayer, do not hesitate to reach out to a trusted pastor or believer who can walk with you through this season. You are not alone—we are standing with you in this fight.
