My application for Disability Retirement is being recommended for denial at next weeks board metting. I was a government employee working for the county. I stopped working over 4 years ago due to a progressive and severe disability. as a county employee my pension benefits include disability retirement which is early retirement if I am become disabled and unable to work. for over 4 years the retirement association has dragged on my case and has had their attorney working to discredit me and working to get a denial. I have been facing some very big giants in this, the county, the retirement association. their attorney. I in on the other hand went about it on my own because for this type of disability attorneys don't not work contingent. they all want 5,000-10,000 up front and those are retainers that must be replenished as they get exhausted. had I hired an attorney my family might have ended up in big debt by now since this has gone on for over 4 years. my application went to hearing in November now it is recommended for denial by the hearing officer. a final decision is going to be made next Tuesday on the 24th. I spoke to two attorneys and they are telling me that the decision will be a denial if hearing officer is recommending a denial. one attorney advised that I request a new hearing before then. to do that I would habe to retain him before this afternoon. that would mean I would habe to come up with $5,000 retainer as well. please pray that God will give me wisdom and direction in this. also for his favor and protection in this. I would hate to pay the 5000 then before I know it have to come up with another retainer. the attorney us not giving me a set or max amount. he is telling me I could expect it to exceed 10,000. That would put my famuñy in a bad financial situation even in big debt. please please pray that God will intervene and make a way here
