We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude that you have sought Him in this matter, for it is only through Christ Jesus that we have boldness and access to the throne of grace. Your passion for your marriage is evident, and we join you in lifting this before the Father, who deeply cares for the covenant of marriage and desires it to reflect His love for His Church.

First, we must gently address the focus of your prayer. While it is natural to desire your husband’s affection, favor, and devotion, we must be cautious that our hearts do not become consumed with self-centered desires—even in marriage. The Bible calls us to love *as Christ loved the Church*, which is sacrificially, selflessly, and with a heart that seeks the other’s good above our own. Ephesians 5:22-33 reminds us that marriage is a reflection of Christ’s relationship with His bride, the Church. Wives are called to submit to their husbands *as to the Lord*, and husbands are called to love their wives *as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself up for her*. This is a high and holy calling, one that requires both spouses to be filled with the Holy Spirit, walking in humility and mutual respect.

Your prayer also touches on areas that must be approached with wisdom and godly intent. The desire for your husband’s favor *above all other women* is understandable, but we must trust that the Lord is the one who binds hearts together. Proverbs 31:10-12 says, *"Who can find a worthy woman? For her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband trusts in her. She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life."* Your focus should not be on outshining others but on being the godly wife the Lord has called you to be—faithful, virtuous, and full of the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

Regarding the intimate aspects of marriage, we affirm that sexual intimacy within marriage is a beautiful gift from God, designed to be enjoyed within the bounds of covenant love. Song of Solomon celebrates this intimacy, but it must always be approached with mutual honor, respect, and purity. Hebrews 13:4 tells us, *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."* If there are struggles in this area, we encourage you to pray for unity, communication, and a heart that seeks to bless your husband rather than demand from him.

We also notice that while you invoked the name of Jesus Christ, the tone of your prayer leans heavily on repetitive pleas for personal fulfillment. While it is good to bring our desires before the Lord, we must also surrender them to His will, trusting that He knows what is best. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven"* (Matthew 6:10). Our prayers should align with God’s purposes, not just our own longings.

Now, let us pray together for you and your husband, asking the Lord to work mightily in your marriage for His glory.

**Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this sister and her marriage to You. Lord, You are the author of marriage, and You desire for it to be a reflection of Your love and holiness. We ask that You would fill both this wife and her husband with Your Holy Spirit, renewing their minds and hearts to walk in love, patience, and selflessness toward one another.

Father, we pray that You would deepen the bond between them, not for the sake of personal glory or favoritism, but so that their marriage would bring You honor. Help them to communicate with kindness, to serve one another in humility, and to seek Your will above their own desires. Where there has been selfishness, convict and transform. Where there has been distance, draw them closer together in unity and purpose.

Lord, we ask that You would give this wife a heart that reflects the virtues of Proverbs 31—a heart that trusts in You, that does her husband good all the days of her life, and that is clothed in strength and dignity. Help her to be a source of encouragement, peace, and joy to her husband, not out of manipulation or insecurity, but out of a genuine love that flows from You.

For her husband, we pray that You would fill him with Your Spirit, that he would lead with love, wisdom, and integrity. Softening his heart toward You and toward his wife, that he may cherish her as Christ cherishes the Church. Give him discernment in his work, his relationships, and his responsibilities, that he may walk in Your ways and be a man after Your own heart.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of comparison, jealousy, or selfish ambition that may seek to distort the beauty of this marriage. Let their love be pure, their commitment unshakable, and their home a place of refuge and godliness. If there are areas of struggle—whether in communication, intimacy, or priorities—we ask that You would bring healing, restoration, and a fresh outpouring of Your grace.

We pray for supernatural wisdom and discernment for this wife, that she would speak words of life and grace to her husband. Give her patience, understanding, and a spirit that is quick to listen and slow to anger. May her actions and words be seasoned with salt, building up her husband and pointing him to You.

Most of all, Lord, we pray that both she and her husband would seek You first, above all else. May their marriage be a testimony of Your faithfulness, a light in a world that so often distorts Your design for love and commitment. Bind them together with cords that cannot be broken, and let their love be a reflection of Your everlasting love for Your people.

We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise and glory. Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on the following Scriptures as you continue to seek the Lord for your marriage:
- **Ephesians 5:22-33** – The roles and responsibilities in marriage as a reflection of Christ and the Church.
- **1 Peter 3:1-7** – The call to wives and husbands to live in understanding and honor.
- **Colossians 3:18-19** – The command for wives to submit and husbands to love without bitterness.
- **Proverbs 14:1** – *"The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish tears it down with her own hands."*
- **1 Corinthians 13:4-7** – The definition of love, which is patient, kind, and not self-seeking.

Finally, we urge you to examine your heart and ensure that your desires align with God’s Word. Marriage is not about competition or personal fulfillment but about mutual submission, service, and glorifying God together. If there are areas where you need to repent or realign your heart, do so humbly before the Lord. He is faithful to forgive and to transform us by His Spirit.

May the Lord bless you and your husband as you seek Him together, and may your marriage be a beacon of His love and grace.

Dear friend,

We join you in lifting your heart's desire to the Lord. We've been praying for you and your husband, asking God to fill you both with His love, wisdom, and understanding. We believe that God wants your marriage to reflect His love and unity, and we trust that He is at work in your lives.

We're reminded of the apostle Paul's words in Philippians 2:3-4, "Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others." Let's strive to apply this in our marriages, seeking to bless our spouses rather than demanding from them.

We're also reminded of 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, which describes love as patient, kind, not envious or boastful, not arrogant or rude, not insisting on its own way, not irritable or resentful, not rejoicing in wrongdoing, but rejoicing with the truth, bearing all things, believing all things, hoping all things, enduring all things. Let's strive to love our husbands in this way.

We continue to pray for you, dear sister, that God would grant you and your husband supernatural favor, wisdom, and understanding. We pray that your marriage would be a reflection of God's love and a beacon of hope to those around you.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
