URGENT no lateness of my train

We join with you in prayer for your journey and for your work today and we thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is through Him that we have confidence to approach the throne of grace.

We understand the weight you carry as a teacher in a high school and the desire to be faithful and punctual in your duties. The Lord sees your diligence and your heart to serve well. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men Colossians 3:23. Your faithfulness in small things like arriving on time is a testimony to your students and colleagues.

We also hear the anxiety in this urgent request and we are reminded of the comfort of scripture. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We take your request for the train to be on time directly to our Father.

A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps Proverbs 16:9. So while we ask for no delay even a minute, we trust His sovereign hand over all details including the train schedule, the traffic, and the timing of your day. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:8.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up our brother or sister to You and we ask for Your hand upon their journey this morning. We ask that You would keep the train running on schedule without any lateness, that there would be no mechanical issues, no delays on the tracks, and no hindrance that would keep them from arriving at their working place by 9.00 am. Grant favor with the timing of all connections. Calm any worry and fill them with Your peace that passes understanding. Bless them as a teacher today, give them wisdom, strength, and grace to instruct and to be a godly example to the students You have entrusted to them. Let all they do be for Your glory. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name and we trust Your perfect will. Amen.

We hear the urgency in your request and how much you care about being there for your students on time. Wanting to arrive at 9 and do your work faithfully is a good desire, and it makes sense that a possible delay would weigh on you the night before.

We are praying with you for your journey in the morning.

One thing that sometimes eases that early morning worry is to give yourself whatever small buffer you can tonight. You might check the live timetable before bed, have your bag and what you need ready to go, and look at what alternative you would take if there were an unexpected delay. That way you have done what you can, and you can leave the rest in God's hands when you set out.

We want you to know God sees your diligence as a teacher and your desire to serve well. Even if the train does not run exactly as hoped, you are not alone in that moment and your care for your work still matters to Him.

Father, we bring our brother to You tonight. We ask for a smooth and timely train in the morning and for peace as he rests and then travels. Guard his commute, calm any anxious thoughts, and give him strength and joy as he teaches tomorrow. We entrust this day to You in Jesus' name, amen.

Your earnest desire to be faithful in your calling as a teacher is itself pleasing to God, and it is right and good that you bring even this matter of a train and its timing before Him who orders all things.

You go and do the right thing and then be no longer anxious about it, but leave the result with God. That is the counsel of wisdom. Be diligent to be ready in good time, to do all that lies in your power as a steward of the duties entrusted to you, and then cast your care upon Him. The Lord who numbers the hairs of your head and who paints every flower that blooms is not absent from the small details of your journey. He is the God of the hills and the God of the valleys, present alike in great trials and in daily necessities.

Therefore I would have you cry unto God most high, unto God that performs all things for you. He hears the prayer that is offered in the name of Jesus Christ. Remember that where God begins a good work He does not ask you to finish it, He Himself completes it. Trust Him not only for the salvation of your soul through the blood of Christ, but for the ordering of your steps this day.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, You are our refuge in the shadow of Your wings, and our souls trust in You. We thank You that we may come boldly to Your throne through Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask in His name that You would be pleased to order the way for this Your servant, that the train may run according to its appointed time and that arrival at the place of labor may be at the hour required. Grant journeying mercies, keep from hindrance and delay, and give peace of heart while waiting. And if in Your wiser providence it should be otherwise, give grace to be still and to know that You are God, and to serve faithfully wherever You place us. Let Your mercy and Your truth be our guard this day. Keep this teacher before the young ones committed to his care, and make him a faithful witness of Your grace. We ask this trusting not in our own worthiness but in the merits of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Take God at His word and believe Him. Though clouds may surround you, your God is your light, and though you may feel faint, yet pursue, for the Lord is your Leader.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your urgent request has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord. We understand the weight of your calling as a teacher and your desire to be faithful and on time for those entrusted to your care.

We pray that God in His providence would keep your train on schedule without even a minute of delay and grant you a safe and peaceful journey, so that you may arrive at your workplace by 9 am in Jesus name. We ask Him to clear every hindrance on the way and to guard your heart from anxiety.

Scripture reminds us that while we are to act with diligence and care, it is ultimately the providence of God that brings all things to their end. Your faithfulness in preparing and in seeking to be punctual is good and pleasing to Him, yet we can rest knowing that He holds even these small details in His hands. He desires to free us from anxious worry and to establish us in trust and peace as we commit our daily needs to Him.

May the Lord grant you punctuality today, strength for your teaching, and grace to serve your students well. We commit your journey and your whole day to His care.

In Jesus name, Amen.

I have prayed for you and for your train and your arrival at work on time. I understand the pressure you feel as a teacher who wants to be faithful and punctual for your students.

I encourage you to place this concern fully into the hands of the Lord and to trust Him to work on your behalf. Scripture shows us that God wants to act for His people and that He will care for and defend His children. It is always better to put our trust in the Lord than to put our confidence in people or in systems, because human strength and human schedules can fail, but the Lord does not fail.

True trust is shown not only when everything goes as we hope, but when we do not understand what God is doing. You can say to Him, Lord, I do not understand all of the details, but I know You are at work and I trust Your wisdom. When you trust Him in the places of uncertainty and even disappointment, that trust brings praise to His grace far more than trust only in easy moments.

You can also rest in the finished work of Jesus Christ for your standing before God. Your hope is not built on your own performance or your ability to get everything perfect, but wholly on His blood and righteousness. He has done the work of salvation for you, and you are called to rest in what He has done and to trust Him to work within you. When you trust Him, He is able to make you what He wants you to be, even when the enemy whispers that you cannot live faithfully.

God is working in you because He wants to work through you, including through your calling as a teacher. Count it joy that He is shaping you even in small testings like this.

I pray the Lord will be gracious to you, that your train will run on time and you will arrive at nine o clock with peace, and that whether it is on time or delayed, you will know His presence and be able to reflect His grace to those around you.
