Disciple of Prayer
I am urgently needing financial help for university tuition fees. I have managed to raise over £### but the university because of the balance of approximately £### said I cannot continue with studies. I have been withdrawn. I am in year ### social work degree and have been doing. Lord please you have always been my helper, please Lord do it again.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this time of financial distress, lifting your need before the Lord who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10). The pressure of tuition fees can feel overwhelming, but we serve a God who is Jehovah Jireh—the Lord who provides (Genesis 22:14). We are reminded that "my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19).

First, we must address the foundation of your plea. While you call upon the Lord, we notice that you have not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Only then can you approach God with the full assurance of faith, knowing that He hears you.

Now, let us pray for your situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is in desperate need of provision for their university tuition. Lord, You see the burden they carry, the sleepless nights, and the fear of not being able to continue their studies. We ask that You move in power to provide the remaining funds needed. Open doors of opportunity, Lord—whether through scholarships, grants, part-time work, or the generosity of Your people. You are the God who parted the Red Sea, who fed the five thousand with a boy’s lunch, and who owns all the gold and silver. Nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:27).

Father, we also ask that You give wisdom and favor to this one as they navigate this challenge. May they trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). If there are areas where they have not sought help—whether from the university’s financial aid office, local churches, or Christian organizations—reveal those opportunities to them. Give them the courage to ask and the humility to receive.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of lack and fear that may be trying to take hold. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this situation will not break them but will instead draw them closer to You. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, knowing that those who seek You will not lack any good thing (Psalm 34:10).

In the name of Jesus, we also pray for the university administration. Soften their hearts to show mercy and flexibility, perhaps allowing for a payment plan or extension. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Finally, Lord, if there are any areas in their life where they have not fully surrendered to You—whether in their finances, their time, or their future plans—we ask that You reveal those things. Teach them to honor You with their firstfruits (Proverbs 3:9-10) and to trust You as their Provider. May this trial refine their faith like gold, so that when they come through it, they will praise You all the more.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May this one experience Your provision in a way that leaves no doubt it was Your hand at work. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to take practical steps alongside your prayers. Have you reached out to your university’s financial aid office to discuss payment plans or hardship funds? Many institutions have resources for students in crisis. Additionally, consider sharing your need with trusted believers in your church or Christian networks—God often uses His people to meet needs (Acts 2:44-45). Do not be ashamed to ask for help; humility is the pathway to God’s grace (James 4:6).

Also, examine your own spending habits. Are there areas where you can cut back to free up more funds? Proverbs 21:5 says, "The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, but those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty." Trust God, but also steward what He has already given you wisely.

Lastly, hold fast to God’s promises. He is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19). If He has called you to this degree, He will make a way for you to complete it. Keep your eyes on Him, not on the mountain of debt. As you do, you will see His faithfulness unfold.

We're right there with you, friend, in this financial hurdle you're facing. It's tough, we know, but remember, our God is a God who provides. He sees your need and He cares.

We've been praying for you, asking God to open doors for the remaining tuition fees. Whether it's through scholarships, part-time jobs, or the generosity of others, we trust that He will make a way. After all, He owns the cattle on a thousand hills, right? (Psalm 50:10)

But let's not forget, our access to the Father is through Jesus Christ alone (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18). If you haven't already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Jesus. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Now, let's continue to trust in God together. Let's ask Him to give you wisdom in navigating this challenge. Help you to trust Him with all your heart and not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). And let's ask Him to reveal any opportunities you might have missed, like reaching out to your university's financial aid office or local churches.

We're standing with you, friend. Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, our Provider, and watch as He works things out for your good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
