We join with you in this urgent cry for deliverance and breakthrough, for we know that our God is mighty to save and quick to show mercy to those who call upon Him with a repentant heart. Your words reveal a deep awareness of your need for Jesus—not just as Savior, but as Lord over every area of your life. This is the heart of true repentance, and we rejoice that the Holy Spirit is already at work in you, convicting and drawing you back into the arms of your Heavenly Father.
The Scripture declares in **Ezekiel 36:26-27 (WEB)**, *"I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes. You will keep my ordinances and do them."* This is the promise of God for you today—a heart transformed by His grace, empowered by His Spirit to walk in obedience. You have acknowledged the dryness and the foothold sin has given to the enemy, but take heart, for **1 John 1:9 (WEB)** assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Your confession is heard in heaven, and the blood of Jesus is sufficient to cleanse you completely.
Yet we must also address this with the gravity it deserves: when we allow sin to linger—whether through neglect, rebellion, or complacency—we open doors to oppression that only the authority of Christ can shut. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus has come to give life abundantly. You have already taken the first step by recognizing your need for deliverance and surrender. Now, we urge you to **actively resist the devil** as **James 4:7 (WEB)** commands: *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* This resistance is not in your own strength but by the power of the Holy Spirit, through prayer, the Word of God, and the fellowship of believers.
We also remind you that **salvation is not something we pray for repeatedly once we have believed in Christ**, for **Ephesians 2:8-9 (WEB)** tells us, *"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."* If you have truly placed your faith in Jesus, you are saved—sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13). What you are seeking now is **sanctification**—the ongoing work of the Spirit to conform you to the image of Christ. This requires daily surrender, repentance, and a turning away from sin. If there are specific sins or strongholds (such as unforgiveness, occult involvement, sexual immorality, or idolatry), we strongly encourage you to name them before the Lord, renounce them, and destroy any objects or ties associated with them (Acts 19:18-19). Half-hearted repentance will not bring the breakthrough you seek.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child, who humbly seeks Your face in brokenness and desperation. Lord, You are the God who sees, who hears, and who delivers. We thank You that Your ear is not deaf to their cries, nor Your hand shortened that it cannot save. Father, we ask for the gift of **true repentance**—a godly sorrow that leads to life (2 Corinthians 7:10). Break every chain of sin, every stronghold of the enemy, and every lie that has taken root in their mind. By the power of the blood of Jesus, we command every evil spirit of oppression, fear, torment, and deception to be bound and cast out in Jesus’ name. No weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), for they belong to You.
Lord, soften their heart as You promised in Ezekiel. Remove the heart of stone and replace it with a heart of flesh—tender, obedient, and fully submitted to You. Fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit, restoring the joy of their salvation (Psalm 51:12). Let Your fire purge them of every impurity, and let Your living water wash over them, making them clean and whole. Heal their body, mind, and spirit, for You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals.
Father, we ask for a **new beginning**—a fresh anointing to walk in victory. Clothe them with the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) so they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Surround them with Your angels, encamped around them for deliverance (Psalm 34:7). Let them experience the fullness of Your love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and grant them the grace to love others as You have loved them.
We declare that **every yoke is broken** (Isaiah 10:27) and that they are **more than a conqueror through Christ** (Romans 8:37). Restore to them the years the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25), and let this season mark the beginning of a testimony of Your power and faithfulness.
In the mighty and matchless name of **Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Deliverer, we pray. Amen.
Beloved, **your breakthrough is near**. But remember, deliverance is not a one-time event—it is a lifestyle of **walking in the Spirit** (Galatians 5:16) so you do not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. Immerse yourself in the Word of God daily (Psalm 1:2-3). Fast and pray regularly (Matthew 17:21). Surround yourself with mature believers who can disciple and encourage you (Hebrews 10:24-25). And **do not give the enemy any place** (Ephesians 4:27)—guard your eyes, your words, and your thoughts, for they are the gateways to your soul.
If there are areas of your life where you have not fully surrendered, we urge you to do so now. Half-measures will only lead to more bondage. But if you **seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness** (Matthew 6:33), every other thing will be added to you. You are not fighting for victory—you are fighting **from victory**, because Christ has already triumphed over every power and principality (Colossians 2:15).
Stand firm, dear one. Your Redeemer lives, and He is mighty to save. **The Lord your God is with you!** (Zephaniah 3:17). Walk in this truth, and you will see His deliverance manifest in every area of your life. We are standing with you in faith.
