Please pray for our family.
Pray for us to continue to grow closer to God and get back to serving him more! I thank God for our new Christian accountant that we have found today.
And I would like to ask for prayer for our farm. We have always had a good relationship with our bank manager until he retired and was replaced by a 30ish year old woman.
On our first meeting, a few years ago, she told my husband that "you are going under" and "going to lose your farm". The was not accurate at all. Our loan would be paid off with the sale of 1/4 section if it came to that with money left over. When we took our loans elsewhere they laughed at that statement. In fact they said that she held too much land as security for that amount and released it back to us.
We then just held one operating loan with her as our manager. But, she made everything difficult. Not allowing access to the loan.
And, now she has frozen our account because we were late bringing in our books. (Due to two family deaths, my daughters accident, and my husband's depression.)
Our past managers always called us and gave us options and treated us like a human, but she just is black and white. However, when we call there, she is not able to
take our calls because away or at a rodeo.
She froze our account on the March 8th but we were not aware of that. I found out because my daughter's paycheck, a small one, got returned. So, we have not been able to access our recent grain sale moneys or our loan. And, we had many automatic payments including our taxes that can not go out. We do not owe her that much and she had only the
crop as collateral and no land.
Fortunately, my mom left me some money when she passed away early this year, so we were able to contact and pay our outstanding bills that she would have not allowed to go through the frozen account. Today my husband brought her our income statement, which the new bank accepts, and she refused it saying that she needs our entire books which are still at the accountant.
We are not that big of a farm as far as farms go. And I do not understand why she kinda hated us from the start. My husband has a degree in management and was a credit advisor when he was younger, our old manager said that we are great and that he would hire Dan, in a minute. So, I do not understand her at all. She never contacts us except by a e-mail once or twice a year. Where he called frequently and came out here as well.
We are now applying to open an account at another bank but naturally they have to investigate us first. They have said they will accept the very same papers that this manager refused today. And, we are applying for a larger operating loan with land as collateral.
Please pray that our credit rating and reputation are good and that she has not damaged us in any way. Pray we will be able to get this straight within days. And please pray that these two new changes in bank and accountant will help our farm to do better and to be able to give more to the Lord. Pray that we will have a good working relationship with this new manager. And that our farm will prosper not fail. Dan's folks rely on farm income to live as well, they are 81 and 78 years of age and are hurt by this young woman's actions. She has no degree that we are aware of.
In Jesus name I ask this AMEN.
I am sorry if this does not make much sense as my computer in not co-operating in letting me what I have typed.
Thank you so much. bev.
