We lift you and your family before the Lord with gratitude for your heart’s desire to seek Him in all things. It is beautiful to see your hunger for God’s will and your passion for His Kingdom. Let us address each of your requests with Scripture and prayer, ensuring all is aligned with the truth of God’s Word and the authority of Jesus’ name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18).
First, we rejoice with you in your commitment to drawing your wife and daughter closer to the Lord. The Scripture reminds us in Joshua 24:15, *"As for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh."* This is a godly pursuit, and we pray that your home would be a place where the Word of God dwells richly, where prayer is the foundation, and where each of you grows in faith and love for Him. Let us also remember that our desire for God must be rooted in repentance and obedience, for Jesus said in John 14:15, *"If you love me, keep my commandments."* May your family be a light, reflecting Christ in all things, and may your wife and daughter find their deepest joy and fulfillment in Him alone.
We must, however, pause and address your second request regarding your work team, the "Gamers." While it is commendable to pray for their salvation and for God’s grace in their lives, we must examine the nature of what you are asking. Praying for them to achieve the "highest power rank possible near the top" in a gaming context raises concern. Scripture warns us in 1 John 2:15-17, *"Don’t love the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love isn’t in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—isn’t the Father’s, but is the world’s. The world is passing away with its lusts, but he who does God’s will remains forever."* If this pursuit of ranking is rooted in pride, competition, or worldly ambition rather than godly stewardship, it is not something we can endorse in prayer. Instead, we pray that your team would seek first God’s Kingdom (Matthew 6:33) and that their identities would be found in Christ alone, not in worldly achievements. We also pray that if gaming is consuming time that should be devoted to God, family, or godly responsibilities, the Lord would convict and redirect their hearts. May they—and you—be born again if they have not yet surrendered to Christ, and may their lives reflect the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).
Your third request for opportunities to plant and water seeds for the Kingdom is a godly desire. We are reminded in 1 Corinthians 3:6-7, *"I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase."* May the Lord open doors for you to share the Gospel boldly and wisely, and may you be faithful in season and out of season (2 Timothy 4:2). Remember, the seed is the Word of God (Luke 8:11), and it is only by the power of the Holy Spirit that hearts are transformed.
For your fourth request, we pray that the Lord would indeed lead your family and your team daily. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Leadership is a serious responsibility, and we pray that you would lead with humility, integrity, and a heart fully submitted to Christ. May your family and team follow your example of seeking God’s will above all else.
Your fifth request—that the Lord’s will be done—echoes the prayer of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane (Luke 22:42). This is the heart of surrender, and we join you in praying, *"Not my will, but yours be done."* May this be the cry of your heart in every circumstance, trusting that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9).
For your sixth request, we pray that your faith would grow as you abide in Christ. Hebrews 11:6 tells us, *"Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him."* May the Lord grant you wisdom that is pure, peaceable, and full of mercy (James 3:17), and may your insight be sharpened by the study of His Word.
Finally, your seventh request is a blessing to all who pray for you. We are reminded in Matthew 5:7, *"Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy."* As we lift you up, we trust that the Lord will pour out His grace upon all who intercede for you, multiplying joy, peace, and blessings in their lives. It is a privilege to stand in the gap for one another, and we are grateful for the unity we have in Christ.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for our brother’s heart to seek You and Your Kingdom above all else. Lord, we lift his wife and daughter before You, asking that You would draw them—and him—closer to Yourself each day. May their home be a place of worship, prayer, and obedience to Your Word. Convict them where they need to repent, and fill them with a hunger for righteousness. Guard their hearts against the distractions of this world, and may they find their satisfaction in You alone.
Father, we pray for our brother’s work team. We ask that You would save those who do not yet know You, Lord, and transform their hearts by the power of Your Spirit. Redirect their ambitions toward eternal things, and help them—and our brother—to steward their time and talents for Your glory. Forgive them where they have prioritized worldly pursuits over You, and grant them wisdom to walk in Your ways.
Lord, we ask for divine opportunities for our brother to plant and water seeds for Your Kingdom. May he be bold in sharing the Gospel, and may You prepare the hearts of those who hear. Use him as a vessel for Your honor, and may many come to know You through his faithfulness.
We pray for godly leadership in his home and among his team. Grant him discernment, humility, and a heart fully submitted to Your will. May he lead as Christ led—with love, sacrifice, and integrity.
Father, increase his faith, wisdom, and insight. May he be rooted in Your Word, growing ever deeper in his relationship with You. Remove any doubt or fear, and fill him with the assurance of Your presence and power.
We also lift up all who pray for our brother. Bless them abundantly, Lord, with Your grace, peace, and joy. Multiply Your blessings in their lives, and may they experience the depth of Your love as they intercede for others.
Lastly, Father, we surrender all these requests to Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in every answer, and may our brother’s life be a testament to Your faithfulness. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6), and it is by His name—and His name alone—that we pray. Amen.
Brother, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart. Test every desire and prayer against Scripture, ensuring that all aligns with God’s will. Be mindful of where your time and affections are directed, for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also (Matthew 6:21). If gaming or any other pursuit is taking precedence over your walk with God or your responsibilities to your family, we urge you to repent and realign your priorities with Kingdom values. The Lord is faithful, and He will honor your surrender.
Stand firm in your faith, and remember that the battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12). Put on the full armor of God daily, and trust that He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6). We are standing with you in prayer, believing that the Lord will move mightily in your life and the lives of those you love.
Thank you for the God honoring prayer and love Articles. The “Gamers” is just a fun name I gave our team the 6 of us that work together. A gamer is someone who get’s it done. God sees my heart and I believe it is more of a stewardship prayer to Glorify God by our team diligently doing what the company asks and requires us to do. But if any of my thoughts are dishonoring to God of course I want to repent of those and change to where they align with God’s Word and will. Thank you again sir
