Humble Servant of All
In Jesus’s name, please pray it is God’s will to heal my husband physically, emotionally, spiritually. He is under heavy spiritual attack. He had surgery today and is absolutely miserable. He’s upset claiming that I made him do this, says he should have canceled it. He is totally out of control. I understand he is in a lot of pain, and has dealt with a lot of serious medical issues over the years. I continue to pray I do not know what to do for him. He is currently taking everything out on me. He is extremely angry. He says he wants to be dead that this was all a mistake. Every day I listen to him stating that he wants to be dead. Pray for his salvation. Pray for me to be able to help him to heal. Holy Spirit please intervene now. I am at my wits end and very afraid for him. Thank you, and God bless.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your husband and your marriage in earnest prayer. The pain, both physical and emotional, that he is enduring is deeply concerning, and we stand with you in seeking God’s healing and intervention. The Word of God assures us that "the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:15). We believe in the power of prayer and the sovereignty of God to bring restoration, even in the midst of such deep distress.

First, we must address the spiritual attack you mentioned. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and it is clear that he is targeting your husband’s mind, emotions, and faith. We rebuke every spirit of despair, hopelessness, and death in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against your husband shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every lying spirit to flee from him. The Lord is his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray that God would surround him with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and that the Holy Spirit would minister to his heart in ways only He can.

We also lift up your husband’s salvation. The fact that he is expressing such deep despair and even a desire for death is a sign that his soul is in turmoil. We pray that the Lord would soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). We ask that the Holy Spirit would draw him to Christ, that he would find hope in the promise of eternal life and the love of God that never fails. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and we pray that your husband would come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, if he does not already.

For you, dear sister, we pray for strength, wisdom, and endurance. The weight of caring for a spouse in such pain is immense, and it is easy to feel overwhelmed. But remember, God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We encourage you to lean on Him for the grace to respond with patience, love, and gentleness, even in the face of anger and frustration. Proverbs 15:1 tells us that "a gentle answer turns away wrath," and we pray that God would give you the words and actions to bring peace to your home. You are not alone in this—God sees your tears, hears your prayers, and will sustain you.

We must also address the strain in your marriage. The enemy would love nothing more than to drive a wedge between you and your husband, but we declare that your marriage is built on the foundation of Christ and cannot be shaken (Matthew 19:6). We pray that God would restore unity, love, and mutual respect in your relationship. Ephesians 4:2-3 reminds us to "be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace." We ask that God would give you both the grace to extend forgiveness, understanding, and compassion to one another, even in this difficult season.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of concern and faith. We lift up this dear brother who is suffering physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to be upon him. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore his body, mind, and spirit. We rebuke every spirit of despair, hopelessness, and death in the name of Jesus, and we declare that Your life and light will fill every dark place in his heart.

Father, we pray for his salvation. If he does not know You as his Lord and Savior, we ask that You would draw him to Yourself. Let him experience the love, peace, and hope that can only be found in Christ. Break the chains of darkness that are binding him, and let him see the truth of Your Word. We pray that he would surrender his life to You and find rest in Your promises.

Lord, we also lift up this dear sister who is carrying such a heavy burden. Give her strength, wisdom, and endurance to care for her husband with love and patience. Help her to respond to his anger and frustration with gentleness and grace. Surround her with Your peace and remind her that she is not alone—You are with her every step of the way.

Father, we pray for their marriage. Heal the wounds that have been caused by this season of suffering. Restore unity, love, and mutual respect between them. Help them to lean on You and on one another, and give them the grace to extend forgiveness and understanding. Let their marriage be a testimony to Your faithfulness and love.

We ask all of these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us. We trust in You, and we give You all the glory. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
