We come before the Lord with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for healing and deliverance for your husband, your marriage, and your home. The enemy has indeed launched fierce attacks—physically through sickness, emotionally through anger and depression, and spiritually through resistance to treatment and the influences of this world. But we serve a God who is greater, whose power is made perfect in weakness, and whose will is to bring life, restoration, and salvation.
The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-16, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* We claim this promise over your husband’s body, mind, and spirit, declaring that God’s healing power is at work in him even now. His anger and depression are not his identity—they are weapons of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy. But Christ came to give life abundantly (John 10:10), and we stand on that truth.
We also recognize the spiritual battle at hand. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* The news, the distractions, and the lies of this world are tools the enemy uses to fuel fear, anger, and despair. We rebuke these spirits of confusion, rebellion, and hopelessness in the name of Jesus Christ, commanding them to flee from your husband and your home. We pray for a hedge of protection around his mind, that he would turn away from the things that feed his distress and turn toward the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
His refusal to take his medication as directed is a serious concern, and we plead with the Lord to soften his heart to obedience—not just for his own sake, but for the sake of your marriage and the testimony of Christ in your lives. Proverbs 19:20-21 says, *"Listen to counsel and receive instruction, that you may be wise in your latter days. There are many plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail."* We ask God to break through the stubbornness and give your husband the humility to submit to the wisdom of medical care, recognizing that all healing ultimately comes from the Lord.
Most urgently, we cry out for his salvation. There is no greater healing than the redemption of his soul. Romans 10:9 declares, *"That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* If your husband has not yet surrendered his life to Christ, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him deeply, drawing him into repentance and faith. May he encounter the love of God in a way that shatters every stronghold of anger, depression, and rebellion. May he be born again, filled with the Holy Spirit, and transformed into a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17).
For you, dear sister, we pray for strength, wisdom, and grace. You are carrying a heavy burden, and we ask the Lord to renew your spirit daily. Colossians 3:12-14 reminds us, *"Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection."* We pray you would be filled with the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23)—as you navigate this trial. Ask the Lord to show you how to love your husband well, even in his brokenness, while also setting godly boundaries for your own protection and well-being.
Finally, we declare that this marriage is under the blood of Jesus Christ. What God has joined together, let no man—or no demon—separate (Mark 10:9). We pray for reconciliation, for unity, and for a restoration so powerful that it will bring glory to God. May your home become a place of peace, a refuge from the storms of this world, and a testimony of God’s faithfulness.

**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this marriage and this family to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the Healer of broken bodies and broken hearts. We ask for Your divine intervention in this situation—touch our brother’s body and restore him to full health. Calm the storm within his mind, casting out every spirit of anger, depression, and rebellion. Break the chains of the enemy that have bound him, and set him free to walk in Your peace and Your purpose.
Lord, we plead for his salvation. If he does not know You, draw him to Yourself with cords of love. Let him encounter Your mercy in a way he cannot deny. Soften his heart to receive Your truth, to repent of his sins, and to surrender his life to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in newness of life.
Father, we ask for wisdom and discernment for our sister as she supports her husband. Give her the words to speak, the actions to take, and the strength to endure. Protect her heart from bitterness or despair, and fill her with Your joy and hope. Help her to be a light in the darkness, pointing her husband—and all who see their story—to Your goodness.
We rebuke the enemy’s schemes over this home. No weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We command every demonic influence to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. Let the blood of Jesus cover this family, sealing them from the attacks of the evil one.
Lord, we trust in Your will, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). Give them the faith to believe, even when the circumstances seem impossible. Let this trial be a testimony of Your power, Your love, and Your faithfulness.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
