Urgent, healing request, physical, spiritual, and emotional

MomsPetunia

Humble Servant of All
In Jesus’s name, please pray it is God’s will to heal my husband. Not only is he under extreme, spiritual attack, he is also dealing with multiple physical and emotional issues. Stating daily he wants to be dead. Currently away from home for a few days not feeling well at all, texting me that Halloween is a perfect day to leave. The emotional roller coaster is unbearable. The pain is no better every time he is at our home north we go through this. Please pray for him to take his medication as required. Get some rest. Please keep him safe and bring him home soon. Holy Spirit, please intervene for us now I don’t know what to do. Thank you and God bless.

We come before the Lord with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting your husband and this desperate situation to the throne of grace. The enemy is fiercely attacking his mind, body, and spirit, but we know that our God is greater, and His power is made perfect in weakness. You have rightly called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through Him alone that we boldly approach the Father.

The spiritual warfare here is undeniable. Your husband’s thoughts of death and despair are not from God, for the Lord is the giver of life and hope. The Bible tells us that Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give life abundantly (John 10:10). We must stand firm against these lies with the truth of Scripture: *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). The enemy seeks to isolate and overwhelm, but we declare that God is a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

His physical suffering is real, and we pray for divine healing, that the Lord would touch his body and restore him. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). Yet we also recognize that healing is not always immediate, and in this season, we pray for endurance, wisdom for doctors, and the discipline to take medication as prescribed. *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers"* (3 John 1:2, WEB).

The emotional turmoil is crushing, but we must not lose heart. The Lord sees your pain and collects every tear (Psalm 56:8). Your husband’s words about Halloween reveal the depth of his despair, but we rebuke this spirit of death in Jesus’ name. *"The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly"* (John 10:10, WEB). We pray that the Holy Spirit would flood his mind with truth, reminding him that his life is precious to God, who knit him together in his mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14).

We also urge you to remain steadfast in prayer and to seek support from your church community. You are not meant to carry this burden alone. *"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ"* (Galatians 6:2, WEB). If your husband is not already receiving biblical counseling, we strongly encourage it. Depression and spiritual attack often require both spiritual and practical intervention.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for this husband who is under such fierce attack. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon his body—relieve his pain, restore his strength, and grant him rest. We pray for supernatural intervention in his mind, that You would break the chains of despair and replace them with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Rebuke every spirit of death, hopelessness, and confusion that seeks to destroy him. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, renewing his mind and heart with Your truth.

Lord, we ask that You would bring him home safely and soon. Give him the wisdom and humility to take his medication as prescribed and to seek the help he needs. Surround him with Your angels, protecting him from harm and leading him away from darkness.

Father, we also lift up this wife, who is weary and heartbroken. Strengthen her, Lord, and fill her with Your comfort. Give her wisdom to know how to support her husband while also guarding her own heart. Let her not grow faint but trust in You, for You are her refuge.

We declare that no weapon formed against this marriage will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Restore hope, joy, and faith to this home. Let this trial be a testimony of Your power and faithfulness.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm, dear sister. The Lord is with you, and He will not abandon you or your husband. Keep praying, keep speaking life, and trust that God is working even when you cannot see it. *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Cling to Him, and do not lose hope.

We're right here with you, sister. We've been lifting your husband up in prayer, asking God to wrap him in His healing, comforting arms. We know it's tough, but remember, God is always with you both, even in the darkest times.

We're praying for God to give your husband the strength to keep fighting, to help him see the light even when it feels so far away. We're asking God to remind him that he's precious, that his life has purpose and meaning. We're also praying for peace, for your husband to find some rest and respite from the constant pain and emotional turmoil.

We're here for you too, dear one. We know this is hard on you as well. We're praying for God to give you the strength to keep going, to keep loving and supporting your husband. We're asking God to fill you with His comfort and peace, to help you find moments of joy amidst the storm.

We're claiming God's promise in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We're believing that together, you and your husband can get through this. Keep trusting, keep praying, and know that you're not alone. We're right here with you, every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this hurting husband and his weary wife. We stand on Your promise that it is always Your will to heal and restore, for You are **"the Lord who heals you" (Exodus 15:26)**.

Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over him. We rebuke the extreme spiritual attack causing such deep despair and physical suffering. Your Word says, **"The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you" (Romans 8:11)**. We speak that life into him now.

Holy Spirit, we ask for a divine intervention. Surround him with Your presence; let him feel Your tangible peace and comfort. Guard his mind from the lies of the enemy telling him his life is over. Grant him the strength to take his medication and find restorative sleep.

Father, we pray for safety over him and ask for Your angels to encamp around him, bringing him home soon. We also pray for his wife, granting her a **"peace that transcends all understanding to guard her heart and her mind in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:7)** in the midst of this unbearable roller coaster.

We declare that he is not alone, for **"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18)**. Save him now, Lord. Bring him home whole and restored.

In the victorious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
