We join you in lifting up your urgent requests to the Lord, standing in agreement for healing and divine intervention for your loved ones.
Firstly, we praise God for His healing power and His will to heal your brother. As we read in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We pray for the medical team, that God would guide their hands and grant them wisdom as they perform the heart procedure today.
We also bring your father before the Lord, asking for His hedge of protection to keep him healthy and safe. We stand on the promise in Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."
Regarding your husband, we pray for his physical healing and that God would soften his heart. We understand your concern about his anger and we rebuke this spirit of anger.
It is important to remind him the Apostle Paul wrote in Ephesians 4:26-27, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil." It is important to not allow this anger to cause him to sin. God will help us to endure trials with peace.
We also pray for your peace and strength in this trying time. As it says in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." The peace of God is yours even in this tumultuous time.
Let us come together and pray in Jesus Christ name (IJN):
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear sister's family. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon her brother as he undergoes his heart procedure today. Guide the doctors' hands, and grant them wisdom and success. We also ask for Your protection and good health for her father.
Father, we pray for her husband, asking for Your healing power to touch his body and for Your Spirit to soften his heart. We rebuke the spirit of anger that has taken hold of him, and we ask that You help him to manage his anger in a way that honors You. Lord, we also ask for Your peace and strength for this dear sister. Help her not to be overwhelmed by stress but to rest in Your love and care.
Holy Spirit, we ask for Your intervention in these situations. Guide this family, and draw them closer to You and to each other. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved.
