We join with you in prayer over this urgent and very practical need and we lift up your situation before the Lord together in Jesus' name.

We understand how stressful this is when you cannot take a shower, you are losing time heating water, you work in another city and you do not have much time to deal with this. We also hear your concern about your radiators heating irregularly, one side cold and one side warm, and that you have not yet tested the heating fully. These daily burdens matter to God, for He cares about every detail of our lives and He invites us to bring everything to Him in prayer.

We are reminded in Philippians 4:6 that we should in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let our requests be made known to God. And in 1 Peter 5:7 we are told to cast all our cares on him, because he cares for us. We also take comfort in Psalm 46:1 which tells us God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

We pray together now.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we bring this urgent need for the gas boiler and the heating system to You. Lord, You know the need for hot water and for reliable heat, especially with work and travel and limited time. We ask for Your provision and Your hand upon this boiler. If it is Your will, let it begin to work again as it has in the past, or guide quickly to a skilled and honest and extremely fast repair person who can fix it properly and safely. Give wisdom to find the right help without delay and at a fair cost. We also lift up the radiators that are heating unevenly. We ask that You would reveal the cause and lead to a simple and quick solution, whether it needs bleeding or repair, and provide someone who can restore even heat throughout the home. Grant peace in the midst of this inconvenience, redeem the time that is lost, and keep our friend safe as they travel for work and manage these responsibilities. Help them to be a good steward of the home You have entrusted to them. We ask all of this in Jesus' name, amen.

We want to gently encourage you with some practical steps while we pray. For a gas boiler, for safety please do not attempt to repair gas components yourself unless you are qualified, but do contact a certified gas technician as soon as possible, as gas appliances require proper handling. It may also help to ask trusted neighbors, coworkers, or your church family for a referral to a reliable heating engineer who can come quickly, and to call more than one to find the earliest availability. For radiators that are cold on one side and warm on the other, they often need to be bled of trapped air, but if that does not resolve it, a qualified person should inspect the system for blockage or valve issues.

We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to share why we pray in His name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus, we encourage you to believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, for Romans 10:9 promises that you will be saved. It is through faith in Jesus that our prayers are heard and we have peace with God.

We continue to stand with you, asking God to provide a fast solution, to restore hot water and steady heat, and to give you rest and wisdom in this busy season. May the Lord direct your steps as Proverbs 16:9 says, A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps, and may you know His provision and nearness in this practical need.

We hear how heavy this feels right now, trying to keep up with work in another city while losing so much time just to heat water for a shower, and worrying about the heat in your home as well.

Living without reliable hot water and wondering if the radiators will work properly adds real pressure to each day, and it makes sense you want this fixed extremely fast.

For your safety, we encourage you to have a licensed gas technician do any boiler work rather than trying to repair it yourself. If you have not already, we would reach out today to a certified professional in your area, and if you rent, let your landlord or building manager know right away. A quick call to a trusted neighbor, coworker, or local trades directory for a referral often finds help faster than searching alone, and a qualified technician can also check why the radiators are warm on one side and cold on the other.

We are praying for you in this and holding these practical needs before the Lord with you.

Father, we lift up this urgent need for hot water and heat. Provide a trustworthy, qualified person very quickly who can repair the boiler and the radiators, grant safety in the home, and give wisdom and peace while waiting. Help with time and travel for work, and provide rest in the midst of this strain. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your trial in these temporal matters has been laid before the Lord, and we join with you in seeking His gracious help. To be without needful heat and water, and to have the care of this added to the burden of labour in another city and the pressure of time, is a true affliction, and our God does not despise the smallest care of His children.

He is the God of peace, who created peace originally and who restores it when it is broken, who preserves peace when it is made and who shall perfect it at last. There is no need so small that it is beneath His notice, and no trouble so pressing that it is beyond His power. As you have been taught, go and do the right thing and then be no longer anxious about it, but leave the result with God. Having done your best to earn your daily bread and to fight the battle of life, if you find you cannot do all you would, throw yourself upon the promise of God, wherein He has said, Your bread shall be given you, and your water shall be sure.

We pray that the Lord will in His mercy grant you speedy relief. We ask that He who ordains all things would either cause the boiler to function again as it has done before, or in His providence provide with exceeding swiftness a faithful and skilful man to repair it, one who will act honestly and without delay. We pray also concerning the radiators which heat irregularly, that He would guide you to one who can set them in order, so that warmth may be evenly restored to your dwelling. We ask the Lord to redeem your time, to keep you in safety as you travel for your work, and to supply what is needed for your daily washing and comfort.

May the peace of God, which passes all understanding, keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Taste and see that the Lord is good, and trust Him as a child trusts a loving Father. If He says He will help those who call upon Him, then they who call upon Him shall not be put to shame.

May the God of peace make provision for you according to His wisdom and love, and grant you to rest in His care until this need is supplied.

[Chrysostom]

Your request about the boiler and the radiators has been heard and we are joining you in prayer. We understand how heavy these daily troubles can feel, especially when you have little time, must travel to another city for work, and even taking a shower becomes a burden. These small afflictions can bring real anxiety, and Scripture reminds us that patience is often learned through such trials over time, not in a moment, and that to love God is to endure without being overcome, waiting with hope and trusting Him.

We pray that God will give you peace while you wait and guard your heart from being troubled, and that He will comfort and strengthen you through His Word as you face these pressures within and without.

We ask the Lord to provide for you very quickly, whether by causing the boiler to function again as it has before or by leading you to a reliable and skilled person who can repair it safely and soon. We pray also for the radiators that heat unevenly, that the problem would be found and corrected and that your home would be warmed evenly and safely. We ask for protection over you and your home with the gas system, for wisdom for anyone who comes to help, and for grace and time as you manage your work and daily needs.

May the Lord show you His care in these practical details and bring help without delay. We will continue to pray for a swift and good solution and for rest for you in your home.

In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
