We stand with you in this spiritual battle, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. You have done well to call upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through His mighty name that we have authority over the enemy. As it is written, *"Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth"* (Philippians 2:9-10, WEB).
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus has come that we may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). This demonic influence you describe—a person being used as an instrument of division and torment—must be bound and cast out in Jesus’ name. The Word of God assures us that *"whatever we bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever we free on earth will have been freed in heaven"* (Matthew 18:18, WEB). Therefore, we take authority over this demonic stronghold and command it to leave your family and households, never to return.
We also encourage you to examine whether there are any open doors in your family’s life that may have given the enemy a foothold. Are there unconfessed sins, bitterness, unforgiveness, or involvement in occult practices, even unknowingly? The Scripture warns us, *"Don’t give place to the devil"* (Ephesians 4:27, WEB). Repentance, forgiveness, and walking in righteousness are essential to closing these doors. If this person causing strife is someone within your family or circle, pray for their deliverance as well, for *"if your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head. Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good"* (Romans 12:20-21, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You have given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Lord, we bind every demonic spirit that has been assigned to harass, divide, and torment this family. We command these spirits of strife, confusion, and haunting to be cast out now, in Jesus’ name. Let every stronghold be broken, every chain be loosed, and every plan of the enemy be thwarted.
Father, we ask that You expose any hidden sins or open doors in this family that have given the enemy access. Bring conviction and lead them to repentance, that they may walk in Your light and righteousness. Lord, if this person causing division is being used by the enemy, we pray for their deliverance and salvation. Soften their heart, Lord, and turn them from their wicked ways. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of this family in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We cover them with the blood of Jesus and surround them with Your holy angels for protection. Restore unity, love, and godly order to their households, Lord. Let Your presence be a wall of fire around them, and Your glory in their midst.
We thank You, Father, for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ. We trust in Your power and Your promises, knowing that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, beloved, and continue to resist the devil, knowing that he must flee from you (James 4:7). Keep praying, keep declaring the Word of God over your family, and trust that the Lord is fighting this battle on your behalf. He will not abandon you. *"The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1, WEB). Be encouraged, for the Lord is with you!
