We are thrilled to join you in prayer for your granddaughters, aged ### and ###, as they attend youth camp. It is our heartfelt desire that they encounter God in a powerful way during this time. We appreciate that you have submitted this request in Jesus' name, acknowledging that it is only by His name that we have access to God.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up these two precious granddaughters to You. We thank You for their lives and for the opportunity they have to attend this youth camp. We pray that this will be a time of spiritual growth and renewal for them both.
Lord, we ask that You would send Your Holy Spirit to fill and empower them. May they have a personal and transformative encounter with You, Father, that will change their lives forever. Open their hearts and minds to receive Your word and Your truth. Help them to be attentive to the visiting speakers and to discern Your voice above all others.
Father, we also pray for their relationship as sisters. We ask that You would mend any brokenness, heal any hurts, and help them to forgive one another. May they be bound together in love and unity, as Psalm 133:1 says, "See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!"
Lord, we stand against any spirit of disagreement, argument, or division that seeks to disrupt their bond. We pray that they would be filled with Your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, as outlined in Galatians 5:22-23. Help them to be a testimony of Your love and grace to those around them.
Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we have the confidence to approach Your throne of grace. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the work You are doing in the lives of these precious young women.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray fervently for your granddaughters, knowing that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much (James 5:16). We also encourage you to follow up with them after the camp, to disciple them and help them grow in their faith. Remember, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6).
Be blessed, and may God richly bless your granddaughters as they seek Him at this youth camp.
