Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother in his time of need. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your healing power. We pray for this beloved grandfather, that You would guide the hands of the doctors and nurses attending to him. Please provide them with the wisdom and skill needed to perform the surgery successfully. We claim Your promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds."
Lord, we also lift up the rest of the family, especially the father who is struggling with anxiety. We know that Your perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we ask that You fill his heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, because You care for him (1 Peter 5:7).
Father, we thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in Your plan for this family, and we ask that You would work all things together for their good, according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Remember, it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Trust in His name and His power to save and heal.
