I'm presently in the same boat and it is difficult it's a lonely place to be.  

For me, I'm looking inside myself with Gods help, learning that I have put walls up to keep people at a distance afraid of being hurt again. Not knowing you personally this might not be you. 

Ive joined a couple of groups in church and also through a group which is called "meet up" where you can find a group of an activity or interest of yours to join.  

Father, I pray that you will comfort and show this person that they do have friends and are very much cared for.  Open their eyes to see the responses they have received show you are listening and love them very much.

i understand your frustration. We know we are not alone, that God is always with us. And yet, I've known many who just can't seem to make friends here in this world. But each time, their problem was trying too hard. When they learned to stop trying and just be themselves, then friends came. Get busy with a bible study group. People of like beliefs will be there. Do you have an interest in crafts or seek more professional guidance, there are people in those type organizations of like interest. Having common beliefs and interests makes conversation easy and not forced.  Keep your faith in God strong and front and center. I'll pray with you about this. Trust God and the great person he created you to be. You are loved.

I pray you come to know the Love and companionship of Christ Jesus and The Heavenly Father. We are sometimes lonely, but never alone. Maybe this time alone is so that The Lord Our God can draw you closer to Him. Whatever your praying, trust in God's timing, sometimes He's just saying not yet because He needs to prepare you, but whenever He says no, it means He has something better for you.

I hope all is well is your left today! When I read this originally I didn't know how to respond, but really letting you know it will be okay!! You have to start with the root of whatever you are going through and continue to talk to God DAILY! Never give up on him! Never give up on being social.. Never GIVE UP!! Pray and write and Write and Pray!! Allow your FAITH to be stronger than anything !
