Uplift in prayer - Healing, Peace, Joy and Trust in God

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray for me - over 5 decades of struggling and suffering with PTSD, depression, anxiety, and hopelessness has taken its toll on me - have tried counseling and many medications to no avail. I look back on my life and no wonder I have always been depressed, it hasn’t been a good life - as hard as I tried, making every effort possible was useless. I am worn out from this struggle - feel continually awful that God didn’t want better for my life. He can intervene and intercede at any time. Can’t understand why God didn’t find me worthy even though I always prayed and turned to Him for help. I ask for prayers from others as this is all I have left. I have lost my faith and trust.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as we stand in the gap for your healing, peace, joy, and restoration of trust in God. Your pain is deeply felt, and we acknowledge the weight of decades of suffering, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and the crushing sense of hopelessness that has worn you down. You are not forgotten, and your cries have not gone unheard by the One who collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). We declare that your life has value, purpose, and meaning, and we refuse to accept the lie that God has abandoned you.

First, we must address the lie that God did not want better for your life. Scripture tells us that God’s plans for you are for good, not for harm, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). The suffering you have endured is not a reflection of His neglect but a result of living in a fallen world where pain, sin, and brokenness exist. Yet even in this, God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He has not turned away from you, He is with you in the fire, holding you even when you cannot feel His presence.

We also rebuke the spirit of despair that has whispered to you that your efforts were useless. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came that you might have life, and have it abundantly. Your struggles do not define your worth. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God’s love for you is not based on your performance or your feelings but on the finished work of Christ on the cross. If you ever doubt your worth, look to the cross, Jesus considered you worth dying for.

We must also speak truth to the lie that God did not find you worthy. The Bible is clear: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). Your worth is not earned; it is given freely by the blood of Jesus. You are not unworthy, you are chosen, loved, and redeemed. The fact that you have prayed and sought Him is evidence of His drawing you to Himself. Even when you feel far from Him, He is working behind the scenes, weaving together a story of redemption that you may not yet see.

We pray now for your healing, body, mind, and spirit. Lord, we ask You to break the chains of PTSD, depression, and anxiety that have bound our brother/sister for far too long. Bring healing to the deep wounds of the past, and replace the lies of the enemy with Your truth. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Restore their joy, not as the world gives, but as a fruit of Your Spirit (Galatians 5:22). Renew their strength like the eagle’s, that they may run and not grow weary, walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).

We also pray for the restoration of faith and trust. Father, we ask that You reveal Yourself to them in a tangible way, through Your Word, through the love of Your people, and through the still, small voice that speaks in the quiet moments. Remind them that You are the God who sees (Genesis 16:13), the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of those who wait for You (Isaiah 64:4). Help them to trust that even when they cannot see Your hand, You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

And to you, dear one, we say: Do not give up. The night may feel long, but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). Keep crying out to God, even if your prayers feel weak or empty. He hears the groanings of His children (Romans 8:26), and He will not turn away a contrite heart (Psalm 51:17). Surround yourself with believers who can speak life into you, who can remind you of God’s promises when you cannot remember them yourself. And if counseling or medication has not helped in the past, do not lose hope, God can use new doctors, new therapies, or even supernatural intervention to bring breakthrough.

We also encourage you to cling to the hope found in Jesus Christ. If you have never fully surrendered your life to Him, we invite you to do so now. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). In Him, you are a new creation, the old has gone, the new is here! (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Finally, we declare over you: You are not alone. You are not forgotten. You are not worthless. You are deeply loved by the Creator of the universe, and He is fighting for you even now. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We hear your heart, and we're standing with you in this moment. It's okay to feel worn out and to question why things have been so hard for so long. The weight you're carrying is real, and it's not something you have to bear alone anymore.

We want you to know that God hasn’t forgotten you, even when it feels like He has. He sees every tear, every sleepless night, and every prayer you’ve whispered in the dark. He hasn’t turned away, He’s right there with you, holding you closer than you might feel right now.

You’re not unworthy, and you’re not a burden. The fact that you’ve reached out here shows how deeply you still care, even when hope feels out of reach. That matters more than you know. God’s love for you isn’t based on how much you’ve suffered or how hard you’ve tried, it’s based on His unchanging heart for you. He’s already fighting for you, even when the battle feels endless.

We pray that you’d feel His presence in a fresh way, that His peace would guard your mind and heart in ways you can’t explain. Break the chains of the past, Lord, and let Your truth sink deep into ###'s soul. Replace the lies with Your promises, you are loved, you are seen, and you are not forgotten.

Father, we ask for breakthrough in ways we can’t even imagine. Open doors to healing, to new doctors, to therapies that work, to people who will walk beside ### with kindness and patience. Restore what’s been broken, and help ### to trust You again, even in the smallest steps. In Jesus’ name, we pray.

Heavenly Father, thank you for the person I am praying for, who is fearfully and wonderfully made. I pray for miraculous healing and divine restoration. I pray for complete healing for the entire family spiritually, physically, and emotionally. I declare Jesus Christ is their Healer. Trauma, sadness, depression, hopelessness, weariness, fear, sickness, cancer, pain, infirmity, inflammation, and disease must bow to the name of Jesus. I break agreement with every generational curse, ungodly pattern, inherited fear, repeated sickness, familiar spirit, and demonic cycle in the family line. I declare this family is covered by the blood of Jesus. I speak protection, healing, wisdom, and peace over them. They will know Jesus, hear His voice, and walk in His purpose. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are deeply moved by your honesty and the weight of the battle you’ve carried for so long. Thank you for entrusting us with your heart and allowing us to stand with you in prayer. These past days, we have lifted you before the Lord, asking Him to wrap you in His healing touch, to quiet the storms within, and to restore the peace, joy, and trust that only He can give. We’ve prayed for His presence to be so near that you would feel Him holding you, even in the moments when hope feels distant.

If the Lord has already begun to answer these prayers—if you’ve sensed even the smallest shift, a flicker of light in the darkness—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a source of encouragement to others walking a similar path. But if the struggle still feels heavy and the answers seem far away, please don’t hesitate to post your request again. We are here to continue walking with you, lifting you up in prayer, and believing with you for breakthrough.

We also want to remind you of this truth: God has never seen you as unworthy. The fact that you have turned to Him again and again, even in your exhaustion, is a testament to His love drawing you close. He does not measure your worth by the weight of your suffering, but by the precious blood of His Son, Jesus, who carried every burden so you wouldn’t have to carry them alone. We pray that He would renew your faith and help you to see yourself through His eyes—as His beloved child, deeply cherished and never abandoned.

May the Lord bless you with His comfort and strength as you continue to seek Him. May He reveal Himself to you in new and tender ways, and may you find rest in His promises. We will keep praying, believing that He is at work even now. In Jesus’ Name.
