As always, first and foremost, I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation for all of your continued thoughts and prayers. Further, I hope that everyone had a wonderful and blessed Christmas holiday with your family, friends, and loved ones. A

few updates I would like to share. I still remain without a job; and, I find myself growing more concerned and somewhat

fearful as to when/if I will regain employment. My father by God's grace and mercy, is cancer free. He did suffer some

complications; but, is now back home in Bristol TN still recovering albeit slow. Although my landlord went to court today

for nonpayment of rent for November and December, I learned from the landlord, that she actually cancelled the court

hearing for last month as well as not filing for eviction. I was unaware of this information until I spoke to her last

week. Today, I received the settlement payment from my former employer albeit it was heavily taxed. I am grateful that it

will cover the past due rent; but, nothing else that is currently past due (i.e. utilities, phone). Also, today, was the

telephonic first level appeal hearing for my unemployment compensation. It was my hope and prayer that the process would

not have been restarted from the beginning. Rather, I had expected for the initial decision to have readily been reversed

based on the letter provided to the Commission from my former employer. Yet, that didn't happen; and, now I must wait

another 7-10 days for another decision. Until I secure employment, unemployment compensation is the only source of viable

income that I have in which to survive.

Hence, I am standing in the need of your continued thoughts and prayers that the initial (unemployment) denial of benefits will indeed be reversed on appeal; and, that I will begin receiving benefits. Also, please stand in agreement with me that I will soon regain employment. This 'season' has been an extremely difficult one; and, I have found it very difficult to

cope. Lastly, that God will provide a financial miracle in which to satisfy the remaining outstanding debt. Your continued thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated. Thank you and may God continue to bless.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
