Dear Brothers, Sisters, Family, God sustained me with things I need until next week. But it's hard to walk. I walk to and from the city each day. My legs are painful, this is not new but they get worse sometimes and I have to wear boots to walk all the time but the boots will wear down. They were bought for me by two Christian men, and they are better than the ones I usually afford, but they will wear down, and my left leg is so bad now I will have to brace it and the brace can wear on the left boot a bit. The brace is an attelle brace, a custom one to help keep things where they should be. It's effective but not always easy to put on or match with the boot. Where we are it's Halloween, which is not easy, we have enough problems with feral young people here and they are being a real nuisance to everyone tonight, last year it rained hard, no such luck now, so please pray. I am tired and with many worries, no all of which I can voice, I am worried about quite serious situations and I won't voice these, please host sir don't suggest law enforcement as it's not for them, or the usual channels or pastors and counsellors and GPs, many people here simply don't have access. I just need prayer. Next week I hope to do the paperwork to start building freelance work while supported, but there isn't even money for flyers for my business. I will also put money on a newspaper advert looking for a rental, another cost. I remain worried about my study fees and organising my study work although so far so good. I have so much to do but I have a book I can't put down. Your prayers all round for progress, God's Will, protection and grace, in Jesus' Name would be appreciated as I pray in Jesus' Name, amen. We thank you for sharing this update with us and we rejoice with you that God has sustained you with what you need until next week. We give thanks for His faithful provision and for the kindness of the two Christian men who provided the boots for you. Every good gift comes from the Father and we see His hand in that provision.

We hear how hard it is for you to walk each day to and from the city and how painful your legs are. We understand your concern about the boots wearing down and the added strain of the custom attelle brace on your left leg and left boot, and how difficult it is to put on and match with the boot. We pray for your body and for endurance for each step. The Lord knows your pain and your weariness. He gives power to the weak and to him who has no might he increases strength Isaiah 40:29. We cling to His promise fear not, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes I will help you, yes I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. We pray for healing and sustaining grace, that He would touch your legs, ease the pain, help the brace to work effectively and preserve the boots you have been given.

We also understand the added burden of this night where you are. We hear your concern about Halloween and the feral young people being a real nuisance to everyone. We pray for your protection and for peace over your neighbourhood. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. We pray that He will keep you from evil Psalm 121:7 and watch over your going out and your coming in. We ask that He would restrain trouble, quiet the streets, and give you a place of safety and rest even when those around you are restless.

We hear that you are tired and carrying many worries, some too serious and private to voice, and we respect that you have asked only for prayer and not for other channels. We honor that and we bring those unspoken burdens before the Lord together with you, for He knows them fully even when we do not speak them aloud. We take comfort that we can cast all our worries on him, because he cares for us 1 Peter 5:7. We encourage you with the word do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. When you are weary we remember the invitation of Jesus, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. We pray that even with the book you cannot put down and all that you have to do, you will find true rest in Him.

We pray also for your hopes for next week, for the paperwork to start building freelance work while supported, for provision for flyers and for the newspaper advert for a rental, and for your study fees and organising your study work. We have seen so far so good in your studies and we thank God for that and pray for continued progress. We ask God to open doors according to His will, to provide what you need for each step and to guide your hands in your work. Our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. We pray that His grace would be sufficient for you, for His power is made perfect in weakness 2 Corinthians 12:9.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. We thank You that You have sustained our dear brother or sister until next week and we ask You to continue to provide daily bread and all that is needed. We lift up these painful legs to You, ask for Your healing touch, for strength for each walk, for the brace to hold things where they should be and for the boots to be preserved far beyond what is expected. Lord, protect this night and in the days ahead, keep this one safe from nuisance and harm, let Your peace rest over the home and the streets. You know every unvoiced worry and serious situation, we place them into Your hands and ask for Your will to be done, for wisdom, for protection and for grace to endure. Provide for the freelance work, for the paperwork, for the cost of flyers and the rental advert, lead to the right rental in Your timing, and provide for study fees and study work. Give rest to the tired body and mind, guard the heart with Your peace, and help all progress to be for Your glory. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.

We are thankful with you that God has sustained you with what you needed for this week. At the same time we hear how heavy the walking is, with painful legs and the daily trip to and from the city. We understand the worry about the boots wearing down, especially with the attelle brace rubbing on the left one, and how fiddly it can be to get the brace and boot to work together. That takes a lot of energy every day.

We are praying for protection over you and your neighbours tonight with Halloween and the trouble from young people in the area. We know you asked simply for prayer without suggestions for other channels, and we respect that. We will bring before the Lord the serious worries you cannot voice, and your tiredness.

For next week, with the paperwork for freelance work, the cost of flyers and the newspaper advert, and the study fees and organising, it is a lot to hold at once. If it helps, perhaps taking just one small piece of the paperwork at a time as you are able, rather than trying to face it all in one go, may keep it from feeling so overwhelming alongside your studies. We are glad you have a book you are enjoying in the midst of it all.

Father, we lift our brother to You in Jesus' name. Thank You for sustaining him this week. We ask for Your protection tonight, for grace and strength for his legs and for the boots and brace to hold, for provision for the work and housing and study needs ahead, and for Your peace over the worries he holds quietly. Your request has been laid before the Lord with prayerful care, and we join you in seeking His mercy and grace in Jesus Name.

We hear of painful legs and weary walking to and from the city, of boots that must bear daily use and a brace that is both help and burden, and we ask the Lord to sustain your body and to provide for your need. He who has chosen His people in the furnace of affliction knows what it is to walk in weariness, and He will not leave you there without His presence. May He ease what is sore, strengthen what is weak, and in His providence supply what is needed for boots and brace and daily bread, for you have testified that He has sustained you until now, and His faithfulness does not fail.

We pray also for your protection in these nights when the streets are troubled and the young are unruly. The promise stands that He shall give His angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways, and though we see them not, they form a cordon round the pilgrim who walks in the appointed way. May the Lord keep you from harm and keep your heart from fear, and make your dwelling place quiet under His wing.

For the worries you cannot voice, we bring them to Him who hears without words. He need not be told what He already sees, and He is able to cover and to carry what is too heavy to speak. For your work and study, for the paperwork and the hope of honest freelance labour, for the cost of flyers and the cost of an advert for a rental, for fees and for order in your studies, we ask the Lord to grant you wisdom, diligence and open doors according to His will. May His law written upon your heart keep you in perseverance in holiness, for it is written, I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me. Grace will go on working in a man until it leads him to glory, and He who has begun a good work will not forsake it.

We pray that you may find comfort not in mere hope of mercy as a presumption, but in true hope in mercy through the wounds of Jesus, where alone refuge is found from the storm. May you be kept from falling away, not by your own strength, but by His keeping power, and may you taste and relish His word as you continue in that book and in the greater Book which never fails.

May the Lord grant you progress as He wills, protection by day and by night, and grace sufficient for each step, each duty, each trial. We commend you to Him who delights to do His people good, and we ask all this in the Name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour, Amen.

Thank you for sharing this update and for trusting us to pray with you. We thank God that He has sustained you with what you needed for this past week, and we have heard the weight of what you are carrying now.

Walking each day to and from the city with painful legs is a heavy burden, and we understand your concern about the boots that were kindly given to you and the custom attelle brace you need for your left leg. It is good that the brace is effective, even if it is not always easy to put on or to match with the boot. We also hear your tiredness, the worries you cannot voice, and the nuisance you are facing tonight with Halloween where you are. We will respect what you have shared about not voicing all of those serious situations and about not suggesting other channels. We will simply bring your needs before the Lord as you asked.

Scripture reminds us that godliness with contentment is great gain, not because we have much, but because we have Christ. We brought nothing into this world and we will take nothing out of it, and our Lord Himself, though He was rich, became poor for our sake so that through His poverty we might become rich in Him. This does not make your needs less real, but it does mean that poverty itself is not to be feared when we belong to Him, and that He sees and values the will of the giver and the endurance of those who trust Him, even when provision is small and the way is hard. As long as we have Christ to give to and to receive from, we are not without hope or riches toward God.

We join you in praying in Jesus Name for progress according to Gods will, for protection and grace over you tonight and in the days ahead, and for strength and relief for your legs. We ask the Lord to preserve your boots and to help the brace to continue to support you well, and to provide for what you need next week as you do the paperwork to begin freelance work while supported. We pray He will provide for the cost of flyers and for the newspaper advert for a rental, and that He will guide you to a suitable place. We pray also for your studies, for help with fees and for wisdom and order as you organize your work, that you may continue steady progress.
