Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing this update and for allowing prayer for you. We give thanks with you that God has sustained you with what you need for now, and we join you in asking for His continued provision, protection and grace according to His will in Jesus' name.
We hear how hard the walking is each day and how painful your legs have become, and how much you depend on the boots that were kindly provided for you and on the brace that helps keep things in place. It is understandable to be concerned as the boots wear and as the brace adds strain. We pray that the Lord would keep His hand upon you and strengthen you for each step, that He would be with you wherever you walk, and that He would provide for what you need for your body in the days ahead. We ask Him to ease the pain where it can be eased, to guard you from further harm, and to give you wisdom for caring for your legs.
We also pray for your protection where you are, with the trouble from young people in the neighborhood during this season. Our prayer is the prayer Scripture teaches us, that God would keep you from evil lest it grieve you, and keep His hand upon you. We ask that He would hear from heaven as you call on Him, that He would be a shelter around you, and that He would keep you in His peace even when there is noise and nuisance outside. We respect that you have asked only for prayer and not for other interventions, and we honor that.
You mentioned being tired and carrying many worries, some that you cannot voice. God sees and knows those burdens even when they are unspoken. We pray that you would know His nearness, that He would lift what weighs on you, and that you would experience His grace day by day. His ways are steady and true, like laws that govern life, and turning aside from His path only brings grief, but staying in His path brings life and peace. We pray He would keep your feet on His path and guard your heart from discouragement.
We pray too for the work before you, the paperwork to begin freelance work while you are supported, the cost of flyers and of an advert to seek a rental, and the ongoing study fees and study work. We ask the Lord to open the right doors, to provide what is needed for each step, and to give you clarity and focus for your studies. We are glad to hear that your studies are going well so far and that you have a book that encourages you, and we pray that God would use it for your good and help you to make steady progress as He wills.
We humble ourselves and seek His face with you, trusting His promise that when His people humble themselves and pray and seek Him, He hears from heaven and answers according to His mercy. May He forgive, restore, and heal, and may you know His love and His keeping power in full.
In Jesus' name we pray that He would grant you protection from evil, provision for your needs, strength for your body, peace for your worries, and progress in the work and study He has set before you. Amen.
