Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for allowing us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We are grateful you asked us to bring your situation before Jesus when you are so weary and the injustice feels so great.
We have continued to lift you before the Lord and to bring your struggle with the council before Him, the cruel refusal of housing eighteen months ago, the way your application and documents were flung back, the closing of appeals without investigation, the racism and denial of your proven residency, and the recent discovery that you were put on the list and then removed without any contact when they knew you had left your old address and become homeless. We have prayed for you as a disabled person struggling to look after yourself, for the homelessness and the attack you suffered, for the long season of despair and pain and illness and recovery, and for your present need as you rent poor accommodation without enough resources for essentials and medical needs, and for the weariness and loss of temper that has come from having no recourse to justice with the council or the ombudsman or its controller. We thank God that you did not turn to drink or drugs and we ask Him to honor your endurance.
We have been praying in Jesus Name that the God who sees what is done in secret and who defends the vulnerable will be your refuge and advocate. We are reminded that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit in Psalm 34:18 and that He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow and loves the foreigner giving them food and clothing in Deuteronomy 10:18 and that He is a refuge for the oppressed in times of trouble in Psalm 9:9. We pray in Jesus Name for His justice to be revealed where there has been unkindness and racial wrong, for His healing for your body, for His provision for your daily and medical needs, for safe and stable and suitable housing, and for His peace to guard your heart and His strength to sustain you in your weariness.
We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.
May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name, amen.
