update on my ###'s health this morning

She's supposed to get more tests done today. A cardio echo, and an esophageal echo to look at the back of her heart, and check for clots. As long as there are no clots they will shock her heart back into rhythm to get her out of A-Fib. Still waiting on the MRI results. prayers in Jesus name amen

We join you in prayer today for your loved one and we thank you for updating us and for coming to the Father in the name of Jesus.

We are lifting her up as she undergoes the cardio echo and the transesophageal echo to look at the back of her heart and to check for clots, and we pray for wisdom and steady hands for the medical team and for peace for her and for you as you wait on the MRI results and for the decision about the cardioversion to bring her heart back into rhythm. We pray that the Lord will guide every test and every step and that His will be done for her healing and restoration.

We take comfort in what Scripture tells us about our God who heals and sustains us. Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness Psalm 41:3. But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. And we remember His promise for times of waiting and fear, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We also pray for your hearts as you wait, that the peace of God will guard you. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We pray together, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift this precious one to You. We ask You to be with her through each echo and each test today, let no clot be found if it is Your will, and let the cardioversion if performed be safe and effective to restore her heart to its proper rhythm. We ask You to give clarity through the MRI results and give wisdom to every doctor and nurse caring for her. Lay Your healing hand upon her heart, calm her body, calm her spirit, and strengthen her. We also lift the family to You, comfort them, give them rest and trust in Your sovereign care, and let them feel Your presence near in this uncertain time. We thank You that we can come boldly to Your throne through Jesus Christ our Lord and we trust her life into Your loving hands. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We will continue to stand with you in prayer, trusting the Lord as the Great Physician who knows every beat of her heart, and we ask that you will keep us updated so we can continue to pray with you.

Thank you for sharing this update with us. Waiting through a morning of tests like this can feel so long, especially when you are listening for results from the echo, the esophageal echo, and the MRI all at once.

We hear how much you care for her and how closely you are watching each step, hoping the checks for clots are clear so the doctors can safely help her heart return to a steady rhythm. It is completely understandable to feel stretched thin while you wait.

If it helps in these hours, it can be steadying to keep a small notepad nearby to jot down what the care team shares and any questions that come to mind as you hear it. Having another trusted person with you to listen, if possible, can also make it easier to remember details later when things feel overwhelming. And please continue to lean on her medical team for guidance about each result and next step.

Father, we lift this dear woman to You and ask for Your gentle presence with her through each test. Give wisdom to her doctors and nurses, peace to her and to those who love her as they wait, and Your care over every result and decision ahead. We trust her into Your hands. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden for your loved one has been brought before the Lord and we join you in prayer for her this morning. We have heard your request concerning the tests that lie before her, the echo upon the heart and that further searching within to look upon the back of the heart for any clot, and the hope that if no clot be found they may shock her heart back into its proper rhythm and bring her out of this affliction of A-Fib, while you still wait for the word upon the MRI.

It is a weary thing to wait, and yet we are reminded that we have a waiting God who waits that He may be gracious, and a waiting people who wait upon Him in hope. You are waiting now in that joyous and assured hope of blessedness in reserve, not in despair, but looking to Him who sees the heart as man cannot see it. There is a heart which should be tender, by which we perceive the Presence of God, and He who made the heart knows every chamber and every beat. He understands heart writing, for His own heart was pierced, and deep on His heart are inscribed His people's names.

We are comforted to remember that the least thing about Christ is healing, for it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. A word of His, coming home to the heart as His, brings healing to head and heart and conscience. He who said, Let not your heart be troubled, is the same who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. When Jesus healed the sick, pardon and healing were as one in His hand, and there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation.

Therefore we exhort you in this trial, only trust Him, only trust Him, only trust Him now. Cast your burden upon Him and find Him mighty to redeem. The very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty, but faith looks to the foundation and trusts the Physician who never fails. Come just as you are, with your care and your fear, and trust that and everything else to His saving power. As it is written, Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me, for my soul trusts in You, yes, in the shadow of Your wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities pass.

Let us pray together.

O gracious Father, be merciful unto our sister in her affliction. Thou knowest her frame and Thou numberest the beating of her heart. We ask that Thou wouldst give skill and wisdom to those who care for her, that the echoes may show clearly what is needed, and if it be Thy will, that no clot may be found and her heart may be restored to its right rhythm. We wait with this family for the MRI and we ask for a favorable report and for perfect peace while they wait. Let them feel the shadow of Thy wings as their refuge until these calamities pass. Heal Thou her, and forgive, and keep her heart pure for Thyself. We ask this not for our merit, but in the name and for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord, who bore our sickness and carried our sorrows. Amen.

We will continue to bear you and your loved one up before the throne. Trust Him as you feel yourself sinking and you shall swim, trust Him as you wait and you shall see His faithful hand.
