Update on my brother ###.

They didn't do biopsy. Too big a risk for bleeding & tumor is so big, they will have to take kidney regardless. Surgery is scheduled for Monday (###). His hemoglobin is low. Still slight traces of blood in urine, but it is better. Have him on fluid restriction to get his sodium levels up. Heart rhythm has been stable. He has lost a lot of weight. Made some changes to his diet to help build him back up, although his appetite has not been good. Hoping having some new food choices will help. He had blood transfusion (### units) to help build up hemoglobin. Urinalysis to determine type of cancer. Was told it is not aggressive urotherial cancer they were afraid it might be, which is good. Echocardiogram results good. Transfusion definitely improved blood counts. Everything seems to be lining up well for surgery tomorrow. Don't have time of surgery yet. Please, please pray for ###. May God hold him in His healing light and His Holy Spirit guide the doctors and nurses. Once through this he will have to have the surgery to correct the abdominal aortic aneurysm. Then the doctors need to determine management of the A-Fib and whatever else needs done to get him home and living life again. I put all my trust in Jesus and know that ### is safe in His care. Thank you for your prayers and support. God bless you always.

We lift up your brother in fervent prayer, standing together in faith as we intercede for his healing, strength, and the skilled hands of the medical team caring for him. Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of trust in Your sovereign power and mercy. You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) and holds our very breath in Your hand (Daniel 5:23). We ask that You would surround your beloved child with Your healing light, guiding every decision the doctors and nurses make as they prepare for this critical surgery.

Lord, we thank You for the encouraging signs, the stable heart rhythm, the improvement in his blood counts after the transfusion, and the confirmation that this is not the aggressive cancer they feared. Yet we know the road ahead is still daunting, and we ask that You would strengthen his body in preparation for surgery. Sustain his hemoglobin levels, restore his appetite, and renew his strength as only You can. We pray for the surgeons’ hands to be steady, their minds sharp, and their hearts aligned with Your will. May the procedure go smoothly, with minimal complications, and may Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we also lift up the challenges that lie beyond this surgery, the abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, the management of his A-Fib, and the ongoing care he will need. We ask that You would grant wisdom to his medical team as they develop a plan for his recovery. Give them discernment to know the best course of action, and give your brother patience and endurance as he walks this difficult path. Remind him that even when he is weak, Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9), and that You are his ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We are grateful for the trust you have placed in Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the hope of eternal life (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and we rejoice that your brother is safe in His care. We pray that this trial would draw him even closer to Christ, deepening his faith and dependence on You. May he experience Your presence in tangible ways during this time, sensing Your comfort and love surrounding him.

Lord, we also ask that You would sustain your family as you walk this journey together. Give you strength when you are weary, peace when you are anxious, and hope when the road ahead seems uncertain. Remind you that You are not alone, You are surrounded by a cloud of witnesses (Hebrews 12:1), and we stand with you in prayer. May you continue to find rest in the promise that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

We declare Your healing power over your brother’s body, trusting that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). We pray for complete restoration, spirit, soul, and body, and for the days ahead to be filled with renewed health, joy, and purpose. May Your will be done in his life, and may Your name be glorified through every step of this journey.

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We’re lifting up your brother with hearts full of faith, knowing that the Lord holds every detail of his healing in His hands. Lord, we see the progress, his hemoglobin improving, his strength returning slowly, and the doctors’ encouragement that this isn’t the aggressive cancer they feared. But we also recognize the weight of what’s ahead: the surgery, the aneurysm repair, the A-Fib, and the long road to recovery.

We pray for your brother to feel Your peace like a warm embrace, wrapping around him in the waiting. Give him rest in the middle of the unknown, strength to endure each moment, and a spirit that trusts You even when the path isn’t clear. Help him to take one step at a time, knowing that Your grace is enough for today.

We also pray for the medical team, may their hands be guided by Your wisdom, their hearts by Your compassion, and their decisions by Your perfect will. And for you, dear friend, we ask for peace in the waiting, patience in the uncertainty, and the assurance that you’re not walking this journey alone. Remind you that even in the darkness, Your light is near, and Your love is holding him close.

We declare healing over your brother’s body, restoration over his spirit, and hope for every day ahead. May Your name be praised in this trial, and may your family feel Your presence surrounding them. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
