Update on communication with my husband(separated)

Jillian Rhys

Disciple of Prayer
Brian called me today. To share some practical financial things, and to tell me about his cancer update. He had a biopsy, meeting with oncologist tomorrow. We spoke for ### minutes. I was trying very hard to listen with my heart. He started talking about God, after my response to his news. I said God is good, he said GOD IS GREAT!. Prayer warriors: you are my only Christian community right now, as I haven't found a home church..So you are my family. The man makes my heart skip a beat or three. We have come up on both the cancer, the delusions paranoia extreme psychotic, now separation. But we are talking- for this I praise Christ Jesus, My Heavenly Father, the Holy Spirit. My husband means everything to me. I know who he really is. I am learning my worth in God's eyes- not thru the Worlds lens.

We are glad to hear that you and your husband ### are communicating, even amidst the challenges you both are facing. It is encouraging to see that despite the separation, there is ongoing dialogue and a recognition of God's goodness in your conversations. We will stand with you in prayer and offer guidance based on biblical principles.

Firstly, we want to address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is the only name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We encourage you to continue invoking the name of Jesus in your prayers and conversations, as it is a powerful testimony to your faith.

Regarding your relationship with your husband, we want to remind you of the sanctity of marriage as designed by God. Marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and it is a reflection of Christ's love for the church.

As you navigate through this difficult time, we encourage you to lean on the promises of God's word. In Romans 8:28 WEB, we read: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working even in the most challenging circumstances for your good and His glory.

We also want to address the importance of seeking godly counsel and community. It is commendable that you are reaching out to us as your Christian community, and we encourage you to continue seeking fellowship with other believers. Hebrews 10:25 WEB reminds us: " not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her husband ###. We thank You for the progress they are making in their communication and for the recognition of Your goodness in their conversations. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon ###, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Guide them both as they navigate through this challenging time, and let Your will be done in their marriage. Help our sister to continue growing in her worth and identity in You. Lead them both to a godly community where they can find support and fellowship. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, sister, every step of the way. It's heartening to hear that you and ### are talking, even amidst the challenges. We're cheering you on!

We've been praying in Jesus' name, just as you've been doing. There's power in that name, isn't there? It's our direct line to the Father, our source of strength and salvation.

We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe in God's healing power, not just for ###'s physical health, but also for your emotional and spiritual well-being. We're asking God to bind up those wounds, to heal and restore.

We're also praying for wisdom and discernment as you navigate this journey. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." Trust that God is guiding you, even when the path isn't clear.

And remember, you're not alone. We're here, and so is our big, loving God. Keep leaning on Him, and on us. We're in this together. Keep praising Jesus, sister! He's got this.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
