Update: another meeting

I am very proud of my conduct in the 2nd meeting, I built on the first meeting. I did express that being blindsided was stressful. But I guess there will be another meeting next week. Initially I felt targeted but apparently other people are meeting as well. I am trying so hard to be open and receptive. I am relieved that the meeting is over but now I will have to prepare for another one. Having some verses on my monitor helped me stay calm. Please pray that I will not be lead by emotions in the next meeting. Please pray for strength, protection, healing and breakthrough for the next meeting. In Jesus name Amen

We rejoice with you in the progress you’ve made, and we praise God for giving you the strength to conduct yourself with wisdom and grace in this challenging situation. It is clear that you are leaning on Him, and that is the most important thing you can do. The fact that you placed Scripture on your monitor to stay grounded in truth speaks volumes about your dependence on God’s Word—this is exactly where your strength comes from. As it is written, *"Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path"* (Psalm 119:105, WEB). You are walking in the right direction by saturating your mind with His promises, and we encourage you to continue doing so.

It is understandable that you feel the weight of these meetings, especially when they come unexpectedly. Being blindsided can stir up feelings of vulnerability or even injustice, but you have handled this with a posture of openness and receptivity, which honors the Lord. Remember that even when situations feel targeted or overwhelming, God is your defender and your shield. *"The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower"* (Psalm 18:2, WEB). He sees what you are going through, and He will not allow you to be crushed by it. If others are also being called into these meetings, it may be that God is working something far greater than you can see—perhaps refinement, exposure of truth, or even restoration in ways you haven’t yet imagined.

Your request for prayer to not be led by emotions is wise. Emotions are a part of how God designed us, but they must never dictate our responses, especially in moments of tension or uncertainty. Instead, we are called to be led by the Spirit and to respond with self-control, which is a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). *"He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty; he who rules his spirit, than he who takes a city"* (Proverbs 16:32, WEB). Before your next meeting, we encourage you to spend time in prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to guard your heart and mind. Prepare not just with facts or defenses, but with a heart that is surrendered to Christ. If you feel your emotions rising during the meeting, pause—even if just for a breath—and silently pray for His peace to rule in you. *"Don’t be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).

We also want to lift up your need for strength, protection, healing, and breakthrough. Strength is not found in your own ability but in the Lord’s mighty power. *"Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might"* (Ephesians 6:10, WEB). Protection is yours because you belong to Him—*"The Lord will preserve you from all evil. He will preserve your soul. The Lord will preserve your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more"* (Psalm 121:7-8, WEB). Healing may be needed not just emotionally but spiritually, as these meetings could be stirring up wounds or insecurities from the past. Allow the Lord to minister to those areas. Breakthrough is coming, though it may not look the way you expect. Trust that God is working even in the waiting. *"Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up. Don’t you perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert"* (Isaiah 43:19, WEB).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child, who is seeking Your face in the midst of this trial. Lord, we thank You for the progress they’ve made and for the grace You’ve already provided. We ask that You continue to strengthen them, not just for the next meeting, but for every step they take. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit so that their words are seasoned with grace, their responses are measured with wisdom, and their heart remains steadfast in You. Guard them from being led by emotions or fear, but instead, let them be led by Your peace, which surpasses all understanding.

Lord, we pray for supernatural protection over them—protection from any schemes of the enemy, from misunderstanding, from unjust accusations, and from spiritual attack. Cover them with Your feathers, Lord, and let them find refuge under Your wings (Psalm 91:4). Bring healing to any wounds that these meetings may have opened, and let Your truth be the balm that soothes their soul. We pray for breakthrough, Father—not just in the outcome of these meetings, but in their heart, their faith, and their walk with You. Let this season be a testament to Your faithfulness.

If there is anything in these meetings that is not of You, Lord, expose it and bring it to light. If there is repentance needed, conviction needed, or reconciliation needed, we pray You would move mightily. Let Your will be done in this situation, and let Your name be glorified. We rebuked any spirit of fear, anxiety, or confusion trying to take hold, and we declare that Your child will walk in victory because You have already overcome the world.

We ask all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Finally, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus through this. It’s easy to become consumed with preparing for the next meeting or replaying the last one, but remember that your identity is not found in these interactions—it is found in Christ. You are His beloved child, redeemed and called for His purposes. *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God"* (Romans 12:2, WEB). Let this season be one of transformation, where you grow deeper in trust and reliance on Him.

If there is any sin you need to confess—whether it’s bitterness, fear, or even pride in how well you’ve handled things—bring it before the Lord. He is faithful to forgive and cleanse you (1 John 1:9). Stay in His Word, stay in prayer, and stay in fellowship with other believers who can support you. You are not alone in this. We are standing with you, and more importantly, the Lord is fighting for you. *"The Lord will fight for you, and you shall remain silent"* (Exodus 14:14, WEB). Rest in that promise.

We're right there with you, standing strong in this next meeting. Let's claim these verses together: "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7, NKJV). Let's also remember, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13, NKJV). We're believing for your peace, wisdom, and courage in the days ahead. You're not alone; we're praying for you, and so is our great big God. Let's trust Him together! In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Sorry for the other post but I just got out of the meeting (from the time I posted until now I was in a meeting). My supervisors thought it best that I be written up for the “social interactions” (apparently they can’t just fire me yet since I haven’t been written up or done anything unethical...
