Lord Jesus guide the surgents performing this operation. Let Your hands do the cutting. Bless this man with a successful operation and prompt recovery. Touch him with Your caring hands and heal him promptly so he may return home. Give his wife Dear Jesus the confidence she needs to get over this ordeal with You by her side. Thank you Lord

Thank you all for your wonderful prayer support! We've had a minor setback, but I actually see it as a blessing.

We arrived at the hospital for the surgery, and during the preop check, the surgeon discovered that my husband's condition was more involved than first thought. They have decided to do a more complete surgery and fix all of the problems at once. He has been rescheduled for Tuesday of next week. I am thankful that we have avoided a second surgery down the road, and that the surgeon was complete and thorough in evaluating what needed to be done before they began. As a side note, before we knew any of this, they checked his vitals and his blood pressure was in a completely normal range - thank God for that peace and calm. So again, thank you for your prayers and concern - I'll be calling you to action again on Tuesday!

Praise the Lord! That is definitely answered prayer, that the doctors would provide excellent diagnosis and care AND that your hubby would be at peace. I will continue to pray that anxiety have no place in either of your minds or hearts and that those vitals remain normal, and that the upcoming procedure would be a success. God is so good!
