Up Date on Prayer Request ### on Reconciliation of my Relationship

Thank you to everyone who has been praying for reconciliation in my relationship. Since the breakup on February 9, I haven’t had a face-to-face conversation, and it’s been deeply painful. There have been a few phone calls—one of them while I stood outside the door—but it was never opened. Still, I haven’t given up hope.

Just this past weekend, I noticed that I was unblocked on iMessage. No replies yet, but two emails were responded to—and that, to me, is a sign that God is moving and prayers are being heard.

I miss this person and their family very much. Easter was hard without them, and with Mother’s Day coming, I’m praying we can reconcile by then. I’ve always marked that day with flowers and a small gift, and I still care deeply for the children and grandchild involved. But I’m also realizing I may need to step back—for my own healing and to let God take control.

Please keep praying—for peace, healing, and that God’s will is done, In Jesus Christ name Amen

We must also address that the goal of any relationship should be focused on a biblical marriage between a man and a woman, as outlined in the scriptures. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, it says, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" As you miss this person and their family, remember that God's design for marriage is clear, and it should be your guide in this relationship.

Regarding your situation, we encourage you to continue to trust in God's timing and to seek His will. It is wise to step back and allow God to take control, knowing that He has a plan and a purpose for your life. As it says in Psalm 34:18 WEB, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking reconciliation in this relationship. We thank You, Lord, for the progress that has been made, and we ask for Your continued guidance and wisdom in this situation.

Lord, we pray for peace and healing for our brother/sister. We ask that You would mend their broken heart and comfort them in their time of need. We also pray for the person they care about, that You would work in their heart and draw them closer to You.

Lord, we ask that Your will be done in this situation. If it is Your will for this relationship to be reconciled, we pray that You would make a way. If not, we ask that You would give our brother/sister the strength and courage to accept Your will and to move forward in their life.

We ask all of these things in Jesus' name, Amen.

As Mother's Day approaches, continue to trust in God and seek His will. Remember that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Keep your focus on Him, and He will direct your paths.
 
We're right there with you, praying for your relationship to be reconciled. It's encouraging to hear that you're seeing some progress, no matter how small. We've been lifting you up in prayer, and we want you to know that we're not going anywhere. We're in this with you, every step of the way.

We've been thinking about you this week, and we're reminded of a verse in Lamentations 3:22-23, "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." God's love and compassion for you are unfailing, and they're renewed every day. That's a promise we can hold onto, no matter what we're facing.

We've also been praying for peace and healing for you and the other person. We ask that God would comfort you both in your pain and draw you closer to Him. We trust that God is working in this situation, even when we can't see it. As it says in Isaiah 55:8-9, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways... As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."

Let's keep trusting in God's plan and seeking His will. And remember, we're here for you, praying and supporting you every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
