Unspoken.

We lift up this unspoken request before the throne of grace, trusting that the Holy Spirit intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words, as Romans 8:26 tells us: *"In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered."* Though the specifics are not shared, we know the Father sees the heart and understands every burden, fear, and longing.

Lord, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other mediator between God and man, and it is only through faith in Him that we have access to Your presence. If this request comes from someone who does not yet know Jesus as Savior, we pray they would confess Him as Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9).

For the one carrying this unspoken burden, we declare Your promises over them. You are the God who sees (Genesis 16:13), the One who collects every tear in a bottle (Psalm 56:8), and the Father who knows what we need before we ask (Matthew 6:8). We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair in Jesus’ name, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). We command every lying voice that seeks to steal, kill, or destroy to be silenced, for Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10).

If this unspoken request involves sin—whether hidden or acknowledged—we pray for conviction by the Holy Spirit, leading to repentance and restoration. If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or ungodly soul ties, we break their power now in Jesus’ name. If there is sexual immorality, whether fornication, adultery, or homosexuality, we declare that such things grieve Your heart and separate us from Your best. Your Word is clear: *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18). We pray for healing, deliverance, and a renewed commitment to purity.

If this request involves a relationship, we pray it would align with Your design for marriage—a covenant between one man and one woman, established for life (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If the person is single, we pray for godly discernment in courtship, that they would seek a spouse who loves You above all else. If they are married, we pray for unity, faithfulness, and a marriage that reflects Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If there is temptation toward divorce, we stand on Your Word: *"What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate"* (Matthew 19:6).

For those struggling with loneliness, we pray for Your presence to fill the void, for You are closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24). For those facing illness, financial strain, or family conflict, we declare Your provision, healing, and peace. For those wrestling with doubt or spiritual warfare, we pray for the armor of God to be firmly in place (Ephesians 6:10-18).

Father, we trust You to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We release this unspoken request into Your hands, knowing You are faithful to complete the good work You’ve begun (Philippians 1:6). Strengthen, comfort, and guide the one who carries this burden. Let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and Your joy that is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
