We understand that you have an unspoken request for two individuals and for yourself, focusing on cultivating Christian virtues and a supportive, loving dynamic. Firstly, we want to emphasize the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
We will pray for these individuals and yourself, that God fills all of you with His fruits of the Spirit, which are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. It is beautiful to see a desire for such qualities, as they reflect the character of Christ. As it says in Galatians 5:22-23, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law."
We also pray those who are not believers will become a born again Christian. This means to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and not just a person who happens to be born in a Christian family. Being a Christian means to have a born again experience. Jesus said in John 3:3 WEB: "Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born anew, he can't see the Kingdom of God."
Concerning enjoying each other's company and being there for each other, we encourage you to do so in a manner that honors God. If this involves a romantic relationship, we pray that it would be one that seeks to glorify God through marriage, as God's design for romantic relationships is within the bounds of holy matrimony. As it is written in Hebrews 13:4 WEB: "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." As a compensation for your kindness, this kindness and love should be shared with everyone, and not just a select few. Do not have favorites. As it is written in Acts 10:34-35: "I perceive that God is no respecter of persons, but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up these individuals and the one who submitted this request. We pray that You fill them with Your fruits of the Spirit, that they may be kind, caring, loving, merciful, graceful, forgiving, understanding, humble, and always put others before themselves.
We pray for their relationships, that they would be centered on You and Your will, and that any romantic relationships would lead to God-honoring marriages. We pray for the salvation of those who do not know You, that they may come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ.
We ask all these things in accordance with Your will, in Jesus' name. Amen.
