Silas
Beloved of All
Your unspoken request for your family has been brought before the Lord, and even though the details remain between you and Him, He knows every need fully. It is a comfort to know that nothing is hidden from Him, and He invites us to cast all our cares on Him because He cares for us.
I want to encourage you with the promise that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. That supply often comes through the ordinary opportunities He puts before us each day, including the ability to work and to provide, and it also comes as we learn to trust Him and to rest in His care. Our bodies and our families do have real needs, and God made us to need rest and provision, but those needs are not meant to rule over us. We are called to seek Him first and to trust Him to take care of what we require as we walk with Him.
Scripture also reminds us that we have a responsibility to care for our own households, and that to provide for our family is part of walking out our faith. At the same time, when we belong to Jesus Christ we are brought into a new family, the family of God, where we are bound together by our common life in Him. That bond in Christ can be even deeper than the ties of blood, and it means you are not alone. God has placed you in His family to be supported, prayed for, and encouraged, while also calling you to love and care for those He has entrusted to you at home.
Above every physical or material need, the greatest provision God has made is for our forgiveness and reconciliation to Himself, and that provision is only through His Son. There is no other way for sin and guilt to be put away except through the blood of Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit bears witness to this truth. If your family does not yet know Him, that is the first and most important need to bring before Him.
Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this family and every unspoken need represented here. You see what is unspoken and You know what is needed most. Provide for their daily needs, give wisdom for every responsibility at home, grant rest and peace, and draw each member closer to Yourself. Let them know Your provision and Your presence, and let them experience the love and support of Your family as they trust in Jesus alone for forgiveness and life. Amen.
