Your unspoken request for your family has been heard, and I join you in bringing it before God in the name of Jesus Christ. He knows what you have not spoken aloud, and He knows the needs of your household even before you ask.
God has shown His goodness to us in creating us, in giving us life and family, and in crowning us with His care. Because He has honored us not only with words but with what He has done for us, we honor Him in return with our works and deeds and with a life turned toward Him. He does not need our honor, but we need His grace, and even now, whatever our strength, we still need grace from Him.
Christ Himself taught us to pray, not because He needed prayer, but to lead us to pray continually, soberly and with great watchfulness. So we keep praying without ceasing, bringing every need to the Father. It is good to have the prayers of others, and we always need prayer, even when we think we are strong. To think we have no need of prayer is itself a reason to pray more. We offer our part through prayer and through faithful living, and we trust God to supply His part according to His mercy.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, You see this family and You know every unspoken need. I ask You to have mercy upon them, to provide for them, to guard them, and to draw each one closer to You through Jesus Christ. Give them grace, give them peace, and help them to walk in obedience and love before You. Teach them to be merciful as You are merciful, to support one another, and to remain watchful in prayer. Supply what is lacking according to Your wisdom and goodness. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we ask this, Amen.
