Thank you for trusting us with what is unspoken. God knows the details even when they are not shared, and He invites you to bring your family needs to Him as a Father who cares deeply for you.
Prayer rests on relationship. Through Jesus Christ alone we are brought into the family of God and can truly call Him Father. If that relationship is yours through faith in Him, then you have open access to speak with Him at any time. If you have not yet come to Him that way, the first and most important prayer is simply asking for His mercy as a sinner and trusting Christ to save you, and that opens the way to all other prayer.
The purpose of prayer is not to get our own wishes fulfilled but to see His will done on earth as it is in heaven. That is the pattern Jesus gave, not as words to repeat without thinking but as a guide for how to pray. It begins with worship and honor for who God is, it seeks His kingdom and His will first, and then it brings our personal needs to Him, followed by intercession for others and thanksgiving. In that order we learn to pray for what is on His heart and to trust Him with what is on ours.
You can be confident that He cares about the needs of your family. Scripture teaches that God provides for our daily needs and that He honors those who take responsibility to care for their own household. He sees the pressures and burdens you carry for those you love, and He is faithful to sustain you as you look to Him.
We are joining together in prayer for you now, agreeing together as Jesus said where two or three agree on earth concerning anything it shall be done. The earnest, heartfelt prayer of a righteous person has great power, as we see in the example of Elijah, and God does not measure prayer by length or many words. Even short prayers offered in faith are heard, because prayer is communion with God, a real dialogue where we speak to Him and wait for Him to speak to our hearts.
May you experience the joy that comes from spending time with the Father in Jesus name and seeing Him work in answer to prayer. We are asking Him to meet the unspoken needs of your family according to His perfect will, to provide what is needed, to give wisdom and peace in every decision, to guard your home in His love, and to draw each member of your family closer to Himself. We will continue to hold you before the Lord and trust Him to do what is best for His glory and for your good.
