Beloved of All
Your unspoken request for your family has been heard and I join you in bringing it before God in the name of Jesus Christ, who knows what we need before we ask and yet teaches us to pray continually with watchfulness and a sober mind.
God has shown His goodness to us from the beginning. He created us when we were not, He gave us life and breath, and He established the family for our good. He does not need our honor, but we need His grace, and He delights to give it. Even when we are strong or in good standing, we still need His help every day, and He calls us to honor Him not only with words but with works and deeds.
So I pray for you and your household that God would supply what is needed according to His wisdom and mercy, that He would grant peace where there is anxiety, strength where there is weakness, and unity where there is strain. I pray that He would keep you all close to Him, that you would seek Him together in prayer and in the Scriptures with care and earnestness, and that you would walk in love and mercy toward one another as our Father is merciful.
Remember that we need both prayer and our own faithfulness. Prayer without effort is incomplete, and effort without prayer cannot save. We also need the prayers of one another, and we should never think we have no need of them. To remain humble and watchful, to keep praying without ceasing and to do our part in love and obedience, this is the way God strengthens a family.
May the Lord who sees what is unspoken grant you grace, guard your family, provide for your needs, and lead you in His will. I commend you to His care and will continue to pray for you, asking all this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
