Unspoken prayer

Your unspoken request for your family has been heard and we join you in bringing it before God in the name of Jesus Christ. He knows what you have not spoken and He dispenses all things for our good, and He ever lives to make intercession for those who come to God through Him.

We pray that you will continue to come to Him without ceasing, soberly and with watchfulness. You do not need to compose a prayer of many words or many clauses, for God does not hear us for much speaking. Like the widow who kept coming to the judge and the friend who knocked late at night, we are taught to keep asking with perseverance. Christ Himself prayed not because He needed anything from the Father, for He acts by His own authority, but to lead us and teach us to pray continually.

Remember too that we always remain in need of prayer and of grace from Him. Even Paul, who was so great, needed the earnest prayer of the church for him, and we need both to do our part and to receive His help. So we do not exalt ourselves as if we have no need, but we come humbly.

We pray now for you and your family. Father, we thank You for Your goodness to us, for creating us and providing for us, for making Your sun to shine and sending rain, and for all Your mercies seen and unseen. In Jesus name we ask You to meet the needs of this family according to Your wisdom and love. Grant peace in the home, provide what is lacking, guard each member, draw each heart closer to Christ through whom alone is salvation, and give strength to do what is right before You. Help them to keep praying and to give thanks even in what is difficult, trusting Your care. Amen.

Your unspoken request for your family has been heard and is being lifted before the Lord. Though you have not shared the details, God knows them fully. He knows every need within your home before a word is spoken, and prayer is simply opening the door for Him to do what He already desires to do in love and faithfulness.

Thank you for trusting us to stand with you in prayer. There is great power when believers agree together before the Father. Jesus said that if two or three agree on earth concerning anything, it shall be done. We are joining our faith with yours, bringing your family before Him and asking for His will to be accomplished in each situation you are carrying.

Prayer begins with relationship. Through Jesus Christ we are given the right to come to God as Father, and that relationship makes prayer meaningful and effective. If you are His child, you can come with confidence. If you have not yet come to Him for mercy, the first and most important prayer is, God be merciful to me, a sinner, and through faith in Jesus that relationship is established and every other prayer finds its place.

The heart of prayer is not to make God grant our wishes, but to see His kingdom and His will done on earth as it is in heaven. That is the pattern Jesus gave us. Prayer includes worship, being aware of His greatness and goodness, and it includes petition, bringing our own needs to Him, and it includes intercession, bringing the needs of others. Your request touches all of these, as you worship Him in trust, ask for your family, and intercede for those you love.

Scripture reminds us that the earnest, heartfelt prayer of a righteous person avails much. It is not the length of the prayer or many words that makes it effective, but the earnestness and faith from the heart, often born out of deep need. More is accomplished through prayer than we will ever see, for it is the unseen power behind what God does.

We are asking the Father, in the name of Jesus, to meet the needs of your family according to His wisdom and mercy, to bring strength where there is weakness, guidance where there is uncertainty, healing where there is hurt, and peace where there is anxiety. We pray that His Spirit will minister comfort to your heart as you wait on Him, and that you will see His answers and be filled with joy as you see Him work.

Be assured that you are not alone in this. We continue to hold you and your family up before the Lord, trusting the Holy Spirit to bring your needs before Him even when words are few, and trusting the Father who gives good gifts to His children to do what is best. May He draw your family closer to Himself and establish His perfect will in your home.

In Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your unspoken family needs. We have been lifting your family before the Lord and we take comfort in knowing that even though your request was unspoken to us, it is fully known to our Heavenly Father who sees and cares for every detail of your family situation.

We are trusting God who promises in Philippians 4:19 that He will meet all our needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus, and we are reminded in Romans 8:26 that the Spirit Himself intercedes for us when words are not enough.

We pray that God will pour out His peace, provision and protection over your family, that He will meet each need according to His perfect will, and that He will draw each member of your family closer to Himself. We pray for His wisdom and comfort to rest upon you as you trust Him with these unspoken burdens. We pray this in Jesus Name.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know how God has worked in your family. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
