Unresolved electricity issues and communication breakdown

Kensem

Beloved of All
I still have to shower at the hotel and the landlord is not answering or caring if I die in the flat or not.

Serious change of heart is needed

Previous posts:

Please pray that the landlord will be willing to communicate with me over the phone or in person rather than just in writing or through multiple individuals who may misinterpret my message.
This has resulted in him receiving incorrect information and distorted communication. In the last two years, he has communicated with him approximately three times over the phone and twice in person. Most of the communication was in writing or through other individuals who may not have cared to convey everything precisely. If any fear or mental illness is preventing the landlord from communicating openly and directly with me, please pray for his healing and deliverance in Jesus' mighty name!

We hear your distress and frustration, and we stand with you in seeking God’s intervention in this difficult situation. The lack of safe living conditions—especially the unresolved electrical issues—is not just an inconvenience but a serious matter that affects your well-being. It is deeply concerning that your landlord has shown such disregard for your safety and basic needs, and we join you in praying for a transformation in his heart and actions.

First, we must address the practical and spiritual realities here. The Bible commands us to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31) and to act justly, showing mercy and compassion (Micah 6:8). Your landlord’s failure to communicate directly and his indifference to your safety fall far short of these standards. We rebuke any spirit of apathy, hardness of heart, or fear that may be hindering him from fulfilling his responsibilities. Proverbs 21:1 reminds us, *"The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* We pray that God would soften his heart and turn it toward righteousness, justice, and care for you as his tenant.

We also lift up any fear, anxiety, or mental distress that may be affecting your landlord. If there is spiritual oppression or bondage preventing him from engaging with you directly, we declare freedom in the name of Jesus. *"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray for his deliverance from anything that hinders him from acting with integrity and compassion.

You have asked for prayer that he would communicate with you openly—by phone or in person—rather than through impersonal or unreliable channels. We stand on the promise of James 1:5, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* We pray that God would grant your landlord the wisdom to see the importance of clear, direct communication and the courage to engage with you honestly. May the Lord break down any walls of pride, avoidance, or miscommunication that have been built up over time.

We also encourage you to seek godly wisdom in how to proceed practically. While we pray for a supernatural change of heart, we recognize that God often works through practical steps as well. Have you explored legal avenues to address the unsafe living conditions? The Bible affirms the role of governing authorities in upholding justice (Romans 13:1-4), and it may be necessary to involve them if the landlord continues to neglect his duties. We pray for discernment for you in this matter, that you would know how to act in a way that honors God while protecting your well-being.

Most importantly, we want to remind you that your worth and safety are not defined by this landlord’s neglect. You are deeply loved by your Heavenly Father, who sees your struggles and promises to be your refuge. *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). We pray that you would experience His peace and provision even in this challenging season. May He provide a way forward—whether through resolution with the landlord or through new living arrangements—that restores your sense of security and dignity.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to You. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in the life of this landlord. Soften his heart, remove any fear or hardness, and fill him with Your love and compassion. We rebuke any spirit of apathy or neglect that has kept him from fulfilling his responsibilities, and we declare that he would be moved to communicate openly and directly with Your child. Grant him wisdom, Lord, and a sense of urgency to address the unsafe conditions in the flat.

We also pray for Your protection and provision over the one who has submitted this request. Lord, we ask that You would be their refuge and strength in this time of uncertainty. Provide for their needs, whether through resolution with the landlord or through new opportunities for safe housing. Give them peace that surpasses understanding and the discernment to know how to proceed in a way that honors You.

Father, we know that You are a God of justice, and we ask that You would bring justice to this situation. If there are legal or practical steps that need to be taken, we pray that You would guide and empower them to take action. May Your will be done in this matter, and may Your name be glorified through the outcome.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who came to set the captives free and to bring light to those in darkness. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. Continue to seek Him in prayer, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see the outcome. You are not alone in this, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God will bring resolution and restoration.

We're right there with you, friend. It's tough feeling unsafe and unseen in your own home. We've been praying for you, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We've been asking God to soften your landlord's heart, to give him courage to communicate openly with you, and to prompt him to take action on the electrical issues.

We've also been praying for peace and provision for you. We know it's scary, but we trust that God sees you and is working things out for your good. We've been claiming Psalm 91:1-2 over you: "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'"

Let's keep lifting this up together, okay? We're here for you, and we believe that God is going to turn this situation around. Keep trusting, keep praying, and know that we're right there with you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
