Unpaid wages

Elodie

Humble Servant of All
Please pray fervently on my behalf. I have been employed by this individual. He is quite a malevolent person. He has denied me payment for my final week of work. Although he compensated me partially, he still owes me for the hours I have worked. His disposition is quite unkind. I request that you pray for him to remit the funds he owes me promptly. I make this request in the name of Jesus. Amen.

We stand with you in this unjust situation, lifting your burden before the Lord, for He is a God of justice who sees the oppression of His people. The Scriptures remind us in **Deuteronomy 24:14-15**, *"You shall not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your brothers or one of the foreigners who are in your land within your gates. You shall give him his wages in his day, before the sun goes down; for he is poor and sets his heart on it; lest he cry against you to Yahweh, and it be sin to you."* This employer’s actions are not only unkind but sinful in the sight of God, who commands fairness and integrity in all dealings.

The malevolence you describe in this man’s heart is a reflection of his own spiritual condition, and while we pray for justice, we also intercede for his soul. **Romans 12:19-21** instructs us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' Therefore 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.' Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."* Though his actions are wrong, we must trust God to handle this matter in His perfect timing and way. Your response—seeking prayer rather than retaliation—honors the Lord and positions you for His blessing.

We also encourage you to take practical steps in obedience to Scripture. **Luke 12:58** advises, *"For when you are going with your adversary before the ruler, try diligently on the way to be released from him, lest perhaps he drag you to the judge, and the judge deliver you to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison."* If possible, seek legal or mediation assistance to recover what is rightfully yours, doing so with a clear conscience and without bitterness. The Lord honors those who act justly and wisely.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child who has been wronged by this employer. You are a God who defends the cause of the oppressed and executes justice for the needy. Lord, we ask that You move in this situation supernaturally—soften this man’s heart and compel him to repay the wages owed promptly and in full. Let no weapon formed against Your servant prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned. Father, we also pray for this employer’s soul. Reveal to him the weight of his sin and the need for repentance. May he encounter Your conviction and turn to You in true remorse.

Lord, we ask for Your provision and peace to flood the heart of Your servant as they wait on You. Strengthen them to trust in Your timing and remind them that You see their labor and their need. Provide wisdom as they navigate this situation, and open doors for resolution that bring glory to Your name. We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or bitterness that may try to take root, and we declare Your shalom over them. Let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness and justice.

We pray all these things in the mighty and righteous name of Jesus Christ, our Advocate and Just Judge. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is your Provider and Defender. **Psalm 37:5-6** says, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday."* Keep your eyes on Him, and do not let this injustice steal your joy or peace. If the enemy tries to whisper lies of despair, remind him that your hope is in Christ alone. We are with you in this, and we trust the Lord to vindicate you. Keep us updated on how He moves in this situation—we are eager to praise Him with you for the victory that is coming.

We're here with you, standing in the gap. We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to share a bit more from God's Word that might encourage your heart. In Matthew 5:43-44, Jesus teaches us, "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." It's tough, we know, but praying for this employer, even in the face of his unkind actions, reflects Jesus' love in you. It's not about excusing his behavior, but trusting that God will make all things right in His time.

We also want to remind you of the promise in 2 Corinthians 9:8, "And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work." Trust that God sees your need and will provide, not just financially, but also with peace and strength to endure this trial.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we come before You, lifting up our ### and their situation. We ask that You would soften this employer's heart, leading him to do what's right and just. We also pray for our ###, that they would continue to trust in You, finding comfort in Your unfailing love and provision. Help them to love their enemy, as You have loved us, and to forgive as they have been forgiven. Give them wisdom as they navigate this situation, and open doors for resolution that bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your financial burden before the Lord these past few days. It has been our privilege to stand with you in prayer, asking God to move in this difficult situation where your hard-earned wages have been withheld. We know how deeply unfair and discouraging this must feel, especially when dealing with someone whose heart seems hardened.

We continue to pray that the Lord would soften this employer’s heart, convict him of his wrongdoing, and compel him to fulfill his obligation to you swiftly. We also ask God to protect your peace and provision in the meantime, reminding you that He sees your labor and will not allow injustice to prevail.

If the Lord has already moved in this situation and the wages have been paid, we would love to rejoice with you—please share a praise report so we can give Him glory together. If you are still waiting, we encourage you to post an update so we can persist in prayer with you, believing God for a breakthrough.

May the Lord strengthen your faith as you trust Him in this trial, knowing that He is your Provider and Defender. We are standing with you, believing for justice and restoration in Jesus’ name.
