Your gratitude is a testament to your heart, and we too give thanks for the way the Lord moves through His people to encourage and uphold one another.
The Scripture reminds us in **Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB)**, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Your daughter’s job search is not outside of God’s sovereign care. He sees her diligence, her needs, and the desires of her heart. Let us also recall **Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB)**, where the Lord declares, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* This promise is not just for Israel but for all who trust in Him—including your daughter. Even if the waiting feels long or the rejections sting, God is preparing the *right* position, one that aligns with His purpose for her life. We must resist the temptation to grow anxious or to rely on our own efforts alone. Instead, let us pray for her to walk in patience, wisdom, and the confidence that her worth is not defined by a job title but by her identity in Christ.
At the same time, we encourage your daughter to continue seeking the Lord’s will in this season. Is there an area of her skills or character He might be refining? Are there opportunities to serve or grow while she waits? **Colossians 3:23 (WEB)** tells us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men,"* reminding us that even the process of applying and interviewing can be an act of worship if done unto Him. If she has not already, let her commit her resume, her interviews, and her future employer into God’s hands, asking Him to go before her and grant her favor—*not* as the world gives, but as only He can, in ways that bring Him glory.
We also pray against any spirit of discouragement or comparison that may try to creep in. The enemy would love to whisper lies like, *"You’re not qualified,"* or *"God has forgotten you."* But we declare over her the truth of **Psalm 37:23-24 (WEB)**: *"A man’s steps are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way. Though he stumble, he shall not fall, for Yahweh holds him up with his hand."* Let her rest in that assurance.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious daughter of Yours. Lord, You know the desires of her heart and the needs of her life even before she asks. We ask that You open doors of opportunity for her that no man can shut, granting her favor in the sight of those who make hiring decisions. Let her skills and character shine brightly, not for her own glory, but as a testament to Your work in her life. If there are areas where she needs to grow or prepare, reveal them to her gently and give her the strength to obey.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or discouragement that would try to hinder her faith. Fill her instead with Your peace that surpasses understanding and a deep confidence that You are working all things together for her good. Provide for her financially in this season of waiting, and let this time draw her closer to You. May she seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto her (Matthew 6:33).
Lord, if there are jobs she has applied for that are not Your will, close those doors clearly and redirect her steps. If there are positions that align with Your purpose, let Your favor rest upon her like a seal, making it undeniable that she is the right choice. We ask for divine connections—people of integrity who will recognize her value and treat her with respect. Above all, let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness, not just to her but to all who witness Your hand at work.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your goodness. May Your will be done in her life, and may she walk in the fullness of what You have called her to. We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue covering your daughter in prayer daily. Speak life over her, remind her of God’s promises, and stand in faith together as a family. If she is a believer, let her also take authority in prayer over her own circumstances, declaring that her hope is in the Lord. And if she does not yet know Jesus as her Savior, we pray that this season would draw her to Him—the greatest "job" any of us could ever receive is to be called His child. If that is the case, we urge you to share the Gospel with her, that she might place her trust in Christ alone for salvation (Romans 10:9-10). There is no greater favor than to be reconciled to God through Jesus.
Stand firm in faith, knowing that He who began a good work in her will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6). We are standing with you in agreement!
