Beloved of All
They always criticize me, gaslight me and gossip about me! They use my struggles against me and instead of praying they gossip and talk down! It hurts bc it’s nothing I can do! They belittle me! Nothings ever good enough! They favor others! Help me Jesus! Oh and most worst of all they are not believers! I’m trapped! I’m desperate for your help LORD JESUS!

We hear your cry, dear sister in Christ, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. The pain of being misunderstood, belittled, and gossiped about—especially by those who should offer love and support—is a deep wound that only the Lord can heal. You are not alone in this struggle, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God’s justice, comfort, and deliverance.

First, we must address the spiritual warfare at play here. Family members who do not know Christ are often used by the enemy to sow discord, doubt, and despair. Their words may be sharp, but remember what Scripture says: *"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms"* (Ephesians 6:12). Their unbelief does not give them license to sin against you, but it does explain why their actions are so hurtful and ungodly. We rebuke the spirit of division, gossip, and condemnation that has taken root in your family, and we command it to flee in the name of Jesus Christ!

You mentioned feeling trapped, and we want you to know that Christ came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). Even in the midst of unjust treatment, you are not without hope or power. The Lord sees your tears, hears your cries, and collects every one of them in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). He is your defender, your refuge, and your vindicator. *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). Cling to Him, for He is your true family.

We must also address the sin in your family’s behavior. Gossip is a destructive force that tears down rather than builds up (Proverbs 16:28). Criticism that belittles and gaslighting that distorts truth are tools of the enemy, not the fruit of the Spirit. We rebuke these actions in the name of Jesus and pray that their hearts would be softened to repentance. However, we also acknowledge that you cannot control their responses—only your own. *"If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone"* (Romans 12:18). This does not mean you must endure abuse or tolerate sin, but it does mean you are called to respond with grace, even when it is undeserved.

You mentioned that nothing you do is ever good enough. Dear one, your worth is not found in the approval of man but in the love of Christ. *"Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ"* (Galatians 1:10). You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your value is not determined by their words. We pray that you would find your identity in Christ alone, not in the shifting opinions of others.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts on behalf of our sister who is enduring unjust treatment from her family. Lord, You see the pain, the betrayal, and the loneliness she feels. We ask that You would be her shield and her defender. Surround her with Your presence, Lord, and let her feel Your love in tangible ways. Heal the wounds caused by their words and actions, and replace her sorrow with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Father, we rebuke the spirits of division, gossip, and condemnation that have taken hold in her family. We command them to flee in the name of Jesus Christ! Soften the hearts of her family members, Lord. Open their eyes to see the harm they have caused, and draw them to repentance. If it is Your will, Lord, bring them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ so that they may experience the transformative power of Your love.

We pray for our sister’s strength and resilience. When she feels weak, be her strength. When she feels alone, be her companion. When she feels unworthy, remind her of her identity in Christ. Help her to set boundaries that protect her heart and her spirit, and give her the wisdom to know when to speak and when to remain silent.

Lord, we ask that You would raise up godly community around her—believers who will encourage her, pray with her, and stand by her side. Let her experience the love of the body of Christ in a way that reminds her she is never alone.

Father, we also pray for justice. You are a God who sees and knows all things, and we trust that You will vindicate her in Your perfect timing. Let Your light shine in the darkness of this situation, and let Your truth prevail.

We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful and that Your promises are true. We trust in You, and we declare that this situation will not break her but will instead draw her closer to You. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to immerse yourself in God’s Word. Meditate on Scriptures that remind you of His love, His justice, and His promises. Surround yourself with believers who will uplift you and hold you accountable. If possible, seek godly counsel from a pastor or trusted mentor who can provide wisdom and support.

Remember, Jesus understands betrayal and rejection. He was despised and rejected by men (Isaiah 53:3), yet He responded with love and grace. You are not called to endure abuse, but you are called to love—even when it is difficult. *"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good"* (Romans 12:21). This does not mean you must subject yourself to further harm, but it does mean you can trust God to handle the injustice while you walk in obedience to Him.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that your hope must be anchored in Christ alone. If you have not already, surrender your life fully to Him. Confess your sins, repent, and ask Him to be the Lord of your life. *"If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the first step to true freedom, and it is only through Jesus that you can experience the fullness of God’s love and power.

You are not trapped, dear one. Christ has set you free, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17). Hold fast to Him, and He will lead you into victory.

Dear sister, we're here with you, holding you up in prayer. We know the pain of feeling misunderstood and hurt by family, especially when they're not believers. It's like a double blow, isn't it? But remember, God sees you, He hears you, and He's right there with you.

We're claiming Psalm 147:3 over you today, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God is your Healer, your Comforter, and your Strength. He's not surprised by what you're going through, and He's not far off. He's right there, ready to meet you in your pain and give you the strength to keep going.

We're also claiming 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." God is compassionate, and He's using your pain to equip you to comfort others in the future.

Keep trusting in Him, dear one. He's got you, and He's working all things together for your good. You're not alone. We're praying for you, and so is the entire body of Christ. Keep looking to Jesus, and let His love and grace be your strength.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this deeply painful season. It is clear how much this ongoing hurt weighs on your heart, and we have been lifting you before the Lord daily, asking Him to surround you with His peace and protection. We’ve prayed specifically that He would soften hearts, expose truth, and silence the words that wound you—even as we’ve asked Him to guard your own heart from bitterness and despair.

If the Lord has moved in ways you can see—perhaps giving you strength in moments of weakness, granting you wisdom in how to respond, or even opening doors for distance or reconciliation—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report. Your testimony could be a light to others walking through similar trials. But if the burden still feels heavy and the situation unchanged, please know we are not finished praying. We invite you to post this request again so we can continue interceding on your behalf, believing God for breakthrough, healing, and even the salvation of those who do not yet know Him.

Above all, we pray that you would feel the nearness of Christ in this storm—that His love would be more real to you than the criticism, His truth louder than the lies, and His hope stronger than the despair. May He give you the courage to set boundaries where needed, the grace to extend forgiveness even when it’s undeserved, and the wisdom to navigate these relationships in a way that honors Him. We stand with you, trusting that our Father sees every tear and hears every cry. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
