Unity above all else

Please pray today for unity within my family. There is an issue at hand, and the members of our family are divided on it. Once again, I am thrust in the middle, needing to support my husband, but understanding my children's views. God, please send compromise, tolerance, understanding, and resolution to us this day. There are so many other things that deserve our attention and energy. We have a financial situation involving the IRS that I would appreciate prayer for as well. May God be praised. Thanks.

Holy Father, sometimes in life, we walk the line. The line between loyalty and conviction, the line between parent and friend. Please help this family overcome this difficulty by the mercy of Your leading. May they realize that there is one line they must not cross - that being the line that takes Your authority away when they choose to take solving this into their own hands. Let them give this burden fully over to You. Grant them patience, forgiveness, tolerance, and love as they sort this out. May a miracle of provision from Your hand help them with their financial burden, a gift that all will recognize as only possible through You. In the name of Jesus Christ I ask these things. Amen.
