Hi all,

Sista ghurl here to bring you an update on my journey. Still unemployed. I have had interview after interview, sometimes three in a row. This prestigious place called and had me come in for an interview without a degree, but I did not get the job. God closed the door on that too. He has closed all doors on the positions I had applied for. Now how am I doing? Uhhhh I am holding on. Am I whooping it up and thrilled for the test God has put me through. I am less than thrilled. I am tired and weary, but God's word says he would never leave or forsake me. God's words say if God be for me who can be against me. God's word says I shall be the head not the tail. God's word says he has the final say and all I do and will become. God's word says my circumstances do not dictate the outcome of my journey. He is in control and he's got it. He is never early but he is never late either. I have done all I can and I just need to stand.

Is this easy? Uhhh a big fat NO!!!!!!!! But I know nothing will happen to me without God's say so!!! No devil in hell or man on earth has the final say in anything that concerns me. That's what I do know. I'm not going to be homeless and I'm not going to be eating out of trash cans. God's love for me is so deep and so wide I cannot wrap my head around it. So I will stand and trust, because I know he makes a way when there seems like there is no way. I have not paid my mortgage since July of 2013. God will make a way. God has provided me with a roof over my head, heat, hot water, gas and electricity. I have clothes on my back and shoes on my feet. I have food in the refrigerator and I can take a shower every day. I can brush my teeth. I have a phenomenal church next door that I am blessed to have. You have no idea how much they have encouraged me. I am truly grateful!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I won't give up and I won't give in for when I am weak, I am strong. To God be the glory!!!! Amen.

Your faith in his ability and willingness to provide for you is an encouraging and edifying testimony for all who profess to believe in him.

Dear Lord, I pray for this dear soul and ask that you meet her every need, grant her the desires of her faithful and steadfast heart. Wrap your loving arms around her as she awaits your perfect timing in all things.
