Our God of peace, you have taught us that in returning and rest we shall be saved, in quietness and in confidence shall be our strength: By the might of your Spirit answer this request, we pray of you, so we may be still and know that you are God; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Seek Jesus. Put your focus on Jesus. Turn your eyes on Jesus, look full in His wonderful face and the things of earth, will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace.
Ask the Father to baptize you with His Holy Spirit and He will be faithful. We cannot live this Christian life without the power of Holy Spirit. He is the one who guides, leads, teaches us, gives us truth. We must be truth seekers and Jesus is the truth.
If you are born again, then you must know that the sin nature is no longer your nature, because you've been delivered out of darkness and into marvelous light. You are born again of the spirit and it is the law of the Spirit of life that has set you free from the law of sin and death. I don't know how much time you invest in the word of God, but let me tell you, the word of God is delightful. The word of God is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. The word of God is Jesus. The Word made flesh and He is grace and truth.
Father, I thank you for delivering this child of yours from earthly pleasures and from sin. I ask that you give them the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ Jesus, that their eyes be flooded with LIGHT so that they may know the hope of His calling. Place a desire to dig into your word and find the pleasure of living in freedom from sin and the pull of sin...for Jesus truly does deliver us, fully. In Jesus name. Amen.
