We come before the throne of grace with urgency and authority in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written, *"Submit therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB). The enemy may rage, but we declare that *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). You are not alone in this battle—our Lord Jesus has already triumphed over every power of darkness, and we stand with you in His victorious name.
First, we must address something critical: the name of Jesus is the only name by which we are saved, and it is the only name through which we have access to the Father. You invoked His name, and that is powerful, but we encourage you to personally and continually call upon Him in every moment of this struggle. *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9-10, WEB). There is no greater protection than being hidden in Christ.
Now, let us pray fervently for you. Heavenly Father, we lift up this beloved one who is under severe demonic attack. We bind every spirit of fear, oppression, torment, and darkness in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. *"The Lord rebuke you, Satan!"* (Zechariah 3:2, WEB). We command every demonic force assigned against this child of God to flee now, for *"the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). Lord, surround them with Your heavenly host—send Your warrior angels to encamp around them, as it is written, *"For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways"* (Psalm 91:11, WEB). Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
Father, we ask for Your mercy to flood their life. *"Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon"* (Isaiah 55:7, WEB). If there is any area of sin, rebellion, or unrepentance in their life, Holy Spirit, convict them and lead them to repentance. Cleanse them with the blood of Jesus and restore them to full communion with You. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB).
We also declare that the entire heavenly kingdom is interceding for this one. *"Likewise, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered"* (Romans 8:26, WEB). Lord, let the prayers of the saints rise like incense before Your throne, and let Your will be done in their life. Strengthen them, Lord, and let them know that *"the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one"* (2 Thessalonians 3:3, WEB).
Finally, we speak life, peace, and the overwhelming presence of God over them. *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). Let them rest in the shadow of the Almighty, for *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty"* (Psalm 91:1, WEB).
We stand in agreement with you, believing that God is moving mightily on your behalf. Do not lose heart, but take up the armor of God daily: *"Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God"* (Ephesians 6:14-17, WEB). Resist the devil, and he *will* flee from you.
Stay in the Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with believers. You are not alone—we are praying with you, and the Lord is fighting for you. *"The Lord will fight for you, and you shall be still"* (Exodus 14:14, WEB). May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Amen.
