Under demonic attack, no conviction & fallen away

Beloved of All
I need prayers. I've been so close to The LORD, I was delivered from social anxiety at 13, but at 15, after being rebuked by my classmates and sister (they called me dis4bl3d) I began rebelling. I've been doing a lot of sins, and way many more things, and I've reached a point where I lost conviction and I feel literally spiritually dead. I've been in this state for more than a month. I feel no emotions, nor empathy, and I need prayers for being restored. I also get anxiety, tiredness and I get demonic attacks in my sleep as well as some nightmares. I really need your prayers for restoration. I try to pray but in this state it's hard to. Please pray for me, my name is ###.

We hear your cry for help, and our hearts break for the spiritual battle you are enduring. What you describe—loss of conviction, emotional numbness, and demonic attacks—is not merely a season of weakness but a direct assault from the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But take heart, for the Lord has not abandoned you, even when you feel far from Him. He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your past deliverance from social anxiety at 13 was no coincidence; it was the power of God at work in your life, and that same power is available to you now.

First, we must address the rebellion and sin that have taken root in your life. Scripture is clear: "Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (Galatians 6:7). The enemy wants you to believe that your sins are too great, that you are beyond restoration, but that is a lie. The blood of Jesus is sufficient to cleanse you from *all* unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). However, restoration requires repentance—a turning away from sin and a turning back to God. You cannot serve two masters (Matthew 6:24). The numbness you feel is likely the result of grieving the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:30), who convicts us of sin and draws us to repentance. But even now, He is whispering to your heart, calling you back.

The demonic attacks you are experiencing are real, but they are not insurmountable. The enemy preys on fear, isolation, and shame, but "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). You must take authority over these attacks in the name of Jesus. Resist the devil, and he *will* flee from you (James 4:7). Begin by renouncing every agreement you have made with sin, every lie you have believed, and every foothold the enemy has gained in your life. Speak aloud: "In the name of Jesus, I break every chain, every curse, and every assignment of the enemy over my life. I command every demonic spirit to leave me now, and I declare that I am a child of God, sealed by the Holy Spirit."

Your struggle with prayer is not uncommon when under spiritual attack. The enemy wants to isolate you, to make you feel like your prayers are powerless. But even when you cannot find the words, the Spirit intercedes for you with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26). Start small—whisper the name of Jesus, recite Scripture, or simply sit in silence before the Lord. He hears the cries of your heart, even when you cannot articulate them. We encourage you to find a trusted believer, perhaps a pastor or mature Christian, to stand with you in prayer and accountability. Do not walk this path alone.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of ###, lifting up their broken and weary spirit to You. Lord, You are the God who restores, who redeems, and who makes all things new. We ask that You would break the chains of rebellion and sin that have ensnared them. Wash them clean by the blood of Jesus, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). Father, we rebuke every demonic attack, every spirit of fear, and every lie that tells them they are beyond Your grace. In the name of Jesus, we command these spirits to flee and never return.

Lord, we ask that You would reignite the fire of Your Holy Spirit in ###’s heart. Where there is numbness, bring Your healing touch. Where there is despair, bring Your hope. Where there is anxiety, bring Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Restore their conviction, their empathy, and their passion for You. Remind them of the deliverance You have already worked in their life, and let that testimony build their faith for the restoration You are bringing now.

We pray for protection over ###’s mind, especially during sleep. Lord, station Your angels around them to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let Your presence fill their dreams, and let them wake up refreshed, renewed, and filled with Your peace. Father, we ask that You would surround them with godly community—believers who will pray with them, encourage them, and walk alongside them in this season.

Most of all, Lord, we pray that ### would encounter You afresh. Let them hear Your voice calling them back, not with condemnation, but with love. Remind them that there is no sin too great for Your grace, no distance too far for Your reach. Draw them close, Lord, and let them know that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We declare over ### that this season of spiritual dryness is coming to an end. We declare that the enemy’s plans are being thwarted, and that Your purposes for their life will prevail. We speak life, restoration, and revival over their soul. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

###, do not lose hope. The fact that you are reaching out for prayer is evidence that the Holy Spirit is still at work in you. The enemy would not be attacking so fiercely if he were not afraid of what God is about to do in your life. You are not too far gone. You are not beyond repair. The same God who delivered you from social anxiety at 13 is the same God who can restore you now. But you must take the first step: repent, renounce the sin in your life, and surrender fully to Jesus. He is waiting with open arms.

We encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture, even if it feels dry at first. Start with Psalm 51, a prayer of repentance and restoration. Meditate on verses like Lamentations 3:22-23: "It is because of Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." God’s mercies are new every morning—today is a new day to begin again.

Finally, if you have not already, confess your sins to a trusted believer or pastor. James 5:16 tells us, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." There is power in bringing darkness into the light. You do not have to carry this burden alone.

We will continue to stand in the gap for you, believing for your complete restoration. Keep fighting, keep seeking, and keep crying out to Jesus. He will answer.

We're right here with you, dear friend. We understand the weight you're carrying, the numbness, the anxiety, and the relentless attacks. But remember, you're not alone in this fight. Jesus is right there with you, and so are we, lifting you up in prayer.

We want you to know that God sees you, He hears you, and He's working even in the midst of this spiritual drought. He's not surprised by your struggles, and He's not waiting for you to have it all together before He moves. He meets us right where we are, and He's calling you back to Him.

We encourage you to take a step towards Him today. It might feel hard, even impossible, but start small. Maybe it's just whispering His name, or reciting a simple prayer like, "Jesus, I need you." He's not expecting perfection, He's just waiting for your heart's cry.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today on behalf of our friend. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of rebellion and sin that have been holding them back. Wash them clean by the blood of Jesus and renew a right spirit within them. Father, we rebuke every demonic attack, every spirit of fear, and every lie that tells them they are beyond Your grace. In the name of Jesus, we command these spirits to flee and never return.

Lord, we ask that You would reignite the fire of Your Holy Spirit in their heart. Where there is numbness, bring Your healing touch. Where there is despair, bring Your hope. Where there is anxiety, bring Your peace. Restore their conviction, their empathy, and their passion for You.

We pray for protection over their mind, especially during sleep. Lord, station Your angels around them to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Let Your presence fill their dreams, and let them wake up refreshed, renewed, and filled with Your peace.

Most of all, Lord, we pray that they would encounter You afresh. Let them hear Your voice calling them back, not with condemnation, but with love. Remind them that there is no sin too great for Your grace, no distance too far for Your reach. Draw them close, Lord, and let them know that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
