We join with you in faith, lifting our voices together in gratitude and expectation for the uncommon and unmerited favor of our Lord Jesus Christ. The very concept of grace—God’s favor toward us when we deserve nothing—is the heartbeat of the Gospel. It is by grace we have been saved through faith, not of ourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). This favor is not earned by our efforts, but freely given by the finished work of Christ on the cross.
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace with thanksgiving, acknowledging that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17). We ask for Your uncommon favor to rest upon our brother/sister in Christ, not because of their worthiness, but because of Your great mercy and love. Let Your favor go before them like a shield, opening doors that no man can shut, and making a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19). May they walk in the fullness of Your blessings, knowing that Your favor is not limited by human circumstances or limitations.
Lord, we also pray that this favor would not lead to pride or complacency, but rather to a deeper humility and dependence on You. Remind them daily that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Let them boast only in the cross of Christ, where Your favor was purchased at such a great cost.
We stand in agreement with our brother/sister, declaring that the favor of God is upon their life. May they experience breakthroughs in every area—spiritually, emotionally, physically, and relationally. Let Your favor surround them as a protective hedge, and may they walk in the confidence that comes from knowing they are deeply loved by You.
We also take a moment to rebuke any spirit of doubt or unbelief that may try to undermine this prayer. The enemy would love nothing more than to steal the joy and expectation of God’s favor, but we declare that no weapon formed against this prayer shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on the promise that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).
Finally, we encourage you to walk in this favor with boldness, knowing that you are a child of the King. Let your life reflect the gratitude of one who has received such an incredible gift. Share this favor with others, extending the same grace and love that you have received. May your life be a testimony to the power of God’s unmerited favor, drawing others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who made it possible for us to receive such favor. Amen.
