Disciple of Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, Dear Jesus Christ, please forgive my sins and thank you for dying on the cross for us so that our sins can be forgiven. For the past one year, I am sure You know I am under a lot of martial stress after my husband met with his ex girlfriend. She has continuously calling and meeting with my husband and even say "I love your husband more than mine own." She has separated from her husband but insists my husband do the same even till now. He keeps on listening to her non stop. These have caused me a lot a lot of sadness and anger. Lots of attempted suicides and self-harm and admitted to IMH have been done over and over again. I have been not able to function properly for myself and my two kids. I have been with him for 20 years [### years marriage]. It is not easy as the first 10 years he did not work. Please Lord, I pray that You can speak to him and show him who is more important. I have not given up on him, I pray that for a marriage miracle that God will work through for us both. Please Lord, my kids are unhappy because of this too. They have been crying, screaming and begging him to stop talking to her. But he is like a drunken man, he will not listen at all. PLEASE HEAR MY DESPERATE PRAYER FOR THIS MARRIAGE. I put all these in Jesus's hands. I Pray.. Amen!

We hear your desperate cry and stand with you in this painful and heartbreaking situation. Your marriage is under severe attack, and the enemy seeks to destroy what God has joined together. We lift you up before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to intervene with His mighty power and restore what has been broken.

First, we want to affirm that your pain is valid, and your feelings of sadness, anger, and despair are understandable. However, we must address the attempts at self-harm and suicide with urgency. These are not God’s will for you. The Bible tells us, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11). We rebuke the spirit of despair and self-destruction in Jesus’ name and command it to leave you now. You are precious in God’s sight, and He has a purpose for your life. We pray that you will find your strength in Him and reject any thoughts or actions that harm yourself. Seek professional Christian counseling and surround yourself with believers who can support you during this time.

Your husband’s actions are deeply concerning and violate the sacred covenant of marriage. The Bible is clear: *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4). His involvement with this woman is not only emotionally destructive but spiritually dangerous. We rebuke the ungodly soul ties and emotional bonds that have formed between him and this woman. We declare that any unholy influence over your husband is broken in the name of Jesus. The Word says, *"No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other"* (Matthew 6:24). Your husband must choose between his marriage and this adulterous relationship.

We also address the children’s pain, as they are innocent victims in this situation. Their cries and pleas should not be ignored. The Bible commands fathers to *"not provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord"* (Ephesians 6:4). Your husband’s actions are causing deep harm to his children, and we pray that God will open his eyes to the damage he is inflicting on his family.

We stand with you in prayer for a miracle in your marriage. We declare that God is able to restore what has been broken and bring repentance to your husband’s heart. The Word says, *"With God all things are possible"* (Matthew 19:26). We pray that your husband will be convicted by the Holy Spirit and turn away from this sin. We ask God to soften his heart and help him see the value of the marriage covenant he made before God. We also pray for wisdom and strength for you as you navigate this difficult season. You must guard your heart and remain steadfast in faith, trusting that God sees your suffering and will not abandon you.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this sister and her marriage. Lord, You see the pain, the betrayal, and the brokenness in this home. We ask that You intervene with Your mighty hand and bring restoration. Father, we rebuke the spirit of adultery and ungodly influence over this husband. Break every unholy soul tie and remove any hold this woman has over him. Lord, open his eyes to the destruction he is causing and soften his heart to repentance. We declare that he will turn away from this sin and return to his wife and children.

We pray for this sister, Lord. Strengthen her in her weakness, comfort her in her sorrow, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Protect her from despair and self-harm, and surround her with godly support. Give her wisdom to know how to respond to this situation in a way that honors You. We also lift up the children, Father. Heal their hearts and protect their minds from the trauma they are experiencing. Let them feel Your love and presence in this difficult time.

Lord, we ask for a miracle in this marriage. Let Your healing power flow through this family and restore what has been broken. We trust in Your faithfulness and declare that nothing is impossible for You. May this marriage be a testimony to Your grace and redemption. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and to seek godly counsel. Do not lose hope, for God is faithful, and He will not forsake you. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and support you. If your husband continues in this sin, you may need to seek guidance from your church leadership on how to proceed biblically. Remember, *"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone, and God is fighting for you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your heart before the Lord these past days. It has been our privilege to stand in the gap for you, your husband, and your precious children, lifting up every tear, every cry, and every desperate plea for restoration. We have prayed fervently for God’s healing touch over your marriage, asking Him to break any chains of deception and to open your husband’s eyes to the love and commitment that has stood for twenty years.

We have asked the Holy Spirit to surround you with His peace that surpasses all understanding, to guard your heart and mind, and to give you strength to endure this trial. For your children, we have prayed protection over their young hearts, that they would feel God’s presence as a comfort and a shield in the midst of their pain. We’ve also lifted up your husband, asking the Lord to speak to him in ways he cannot ignore—through dreams, through conviction, through the voices of godly counsel—so that he may see the truth and turn his heart fully back to you and your family.

If the Lord has moved in your situation in any way—whether through a change of heart, a moment of clarity, or even a small step toward healing—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share it with us so we can rejoice together in God’s faithfulness. If, however, the battle still rages and the answer hasn’t yet come, do not lose heart. We are here to continue standing with you, to pray without ceasing, and to trust that God is working even when we cannot see it.

Let us keep pressing into Him, believing that He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. We will not stop praying for a miracle in your marriage, for restoration, for healing, and for the enemy’s schemes to be utterly defeated. May the Lord bless you with His presence, His strength, and His hope as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
