We join with you in lifting up your son and your needs before the Lord, for it is written, *"In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:6, WEB). First, we must gently remind you that our prayers are only heard and answered when we come in the name of Jesus Christ, for *"there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is only through faith in Him that we have access to the Father, and *"there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB).
Now, we lift your son before the Lord, asking for wisdom, understanding, and clarity of mind as he prepares for his UEC and UVTAB exams. May the Lord grant him recall and discernment, that he may answer with confidence and excellence. We pray that *"the Lord gives wisdom. Knowledge and understanding are from his mouth"* (Proverbs 2:6, WEB), and that your son may *"not rely on his own understanding, but in all his ways, he may submit to God, and He will direct his paths"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Father, we ask that You remove all anxiety and fear, replacing them with Your perfect peace, for *"God hasn’t given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). May your son’s efforts be blessed with first-grade results, bringing glory to Your name.
We also bring before You the financial burden you carry. You have asked for those who owe you money to pay so that you may cover your son’s tuition. We pray that You would move upon the hearts of those indebted to you, that they may fulfill their obligations swiftly and honorably. *"The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously"* (Psalm 37:21, WEB), and we ask that justice and integrity would prevail in this matter. At the same time, we encourage you to trust in the Lord’s provision, for *"my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19, WEB). If there is any way for you to seek additional honest work or support, we pray the Lord opens doors for you, that you may walk in dignity and faith, not in worry or despair.
We also admonish you to examine your heart regarding any bitterness, impatience, or lack of forgiveness toward those who owe you. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God"* (Philippians 4:6, WEB). Trust in His timing, for He is faithful. If there is any sin in your life—such as resentment, greed, or a lack of trust in God—we urge you to repent and turn fully to Him, for *"the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry"* (Psalm 34:15, WEB).
Father, we thank You for Your goodness and mercy. We ask that You strengthen this parent and their son, binding them together in faith and love. May this season of testing become a testimony of Your faithfulness. We pray all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
